It was a genuine comment mate, just saying credit where its due to the team that sneaks up from the other half of the table to make a late challenge for the playoffs, I think you'll probably know the club i'm talking about, can't see anything wrong with that, ****ing snowflakes, ****'em
No offence taken Ristac sorry if it came across that way. I think we all would like this season to be over ASAP.after every poor performance or result we think we can't get any worse but we seem to manage it. I don't think it's so much negativity as frustration, were all desperate for a performance and a result that the slightest thing triggers it. Yesterday was the perfect opportunity to go at a team and put them to the sword but had that been your first match as a fan you wouldn't have known which team were on the verge of relegation.
When I go to Leeds,I expect to see a Championship club with a lot of injury problems,if I went expecting Real Madrid every week I would be like Glory.
We also have a piss poor squad, and Shankly used to say good players don’t get injured. You are being ripped off with premiership prices to watch this ****e.Gfh,, Cellino and this cin man must all have laughed their bollocks off at you..
Whenever I visit ER I would like to think I go with a sense of proportion and managed expectations. With that in mind I really enjoyed yesterday's game. Sunderland with relegation looming gave a good account of themselves and at least put in the effort that their traveling support deserved. Their 2 wide players caused us problems all day long, which I suppose given our weakness at full back on both flanks was to be expected. Ashley Fletcher up front looked useful and on another day would have scored 2 headed goals. Ultimately though Sunderland are a poor side and I presume consecutive relegations will rip the heart out of them financially and they will have to rebuild using youth provided they can offload the players whose contracts will be a massive millstone for League 1. The performance from us was totally predictable as we again looked a team without a clear identity. There is no identifiable pattern of play and it was only after the substitution of Phillips for Roofe that we started to create opportunities. During this period and perhaps because he was then the sole holding player Vieria started to show us the player that we know he is. Predictably all our best play came through Hernandez and Siaz but was all off the cuff stuff and I would like to see a lot more composure when we're in good attacking positions. The biggest culprit for being wasteful was Dallas who time and time again failed to deliver crosses of any quality whatsoever. Peacock Farrell had easily his best game in a Leeds shirt showing confidence and composure as well as making a string of excellent saves. With yet another youngster in Paudie O'Connor making a calm and assured debut at centre half that makes four players from the academy who've shown this season they have the potential to make the grade. Perhaps we will see one or two more in the closing weeks of the season and as I've stated before 2 of the 3 successful era's in our history have come when we have a group of young players all breaking through at a similar time. It then only takes the addition of couple of top class senior pro's along with a little stardust for another exciting and vibrant team to take shape. Headed over to the Peacock after but despite hanging around the back didn't see any of our crowd so jumped in a taxi with couple of Norwegian guys who were top class and I'm now the honorary recipient of a Bergen Whites badge that I will wear with pride. If as others have you look at the match in isolation and the inadequacies of many of our players and come to the conclusion that we're a million miles away from where we want to be then I totally understand your viewpoint. Personally I prefer to consider the whole and sometimes even grasp at straws but at least that way I'm enjoying my ups and downs.
Turned from a side in touching distance of playoff to one in the bottom half. You dress it up how you like But that’s the reality.. Get saving. Glory wants his cash
I will win,but you did say the team that ended last season would go down, same as you're saying about next season, the same as you say every season.
We haven’t got the same team as last year . We will both have to wait patiently till we are mathematically certain to be in the bottom half. There is no way you thought I had any chance of getting anywhere near collecting. It’s clear we re both getting a run for your money.
Team not the same, but as you said they would go down, how much has the team improved by you're reconing.
It’s gone from 7th to 13th why don’t you tell me how much it’s improved and explain your apologist logic.
You said last seasons team would go down this season, since no danger of that,we must be better,by your logic.
You said we would go up.. what’s ur point. The bet was top half/bottom half for a reason... You nearly bit my hands off.. as it stands you will be paying out for the second time in 3 years
Yes we got close under Monk, bot Wood & Taylor definitely wanted out, we could keep neither. I also agree that in recent history our best has come when we have promoted players from the academy / U23, so what if this is the cheap option, we've lumbered ourselves many times in the past with 'big' names that have done **** all and all but bankrupt the club. Maybe I am a fool (and one that can't go before I have that pointed out to me) but I am also hoping that some from below, that actually care about the club come through next season. And lastly, I still don't see what Radz has done so wrong other than to try to get us promoted like the business we're meant to be. He simply isn't rich enough to do a Chelsea or City.
If Phil Hay thinks he can steal my lines and board HMS reality he can feck right off! https://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/sport/football/leeds-united/phil-hay-s-verdict-failing-to-beat-sunderland-highlights-leeds-united-s-lack-of-progress-1-9104531
