5-4-1 (slash 5-2-3), with JWP right side and Tadic left side? Or 5-3-2, with JWP tucked more central and Tadic used as a second striker?
Set up so the full backs can bomb down the wing presumably. Good to see Yoshi and JWP back in the fold. We'll need them today
Keep an eye out for the Arsenal #61 - Reiss Nelson. Really, really, talented lad. Could pose us some real issues. (as could anyone!)
Tadic and Long?? Really? Surprised by that selection. Glad we havent gone 4231 though, something, (cant quite put my finger on what) tells me that isnt working out at the moment...
I think Long is suited for this game tbh, Austin wont have much of the ball. Need him fresh for other games after only having just come back from injury too. Would have liked to have at least seen Davis on the bench though.
Long doesn't surprise me at all. Sounded like he came on against West Ham and did OK. Given how bad the rest were, I think that was always going to jump Long up the pecking order for today. Plus, if we're going to put men behind the ball, then you want your front man to be someone who can run. Even more so considering the lack of pace in Arsenal's CBs.
I'll take that Arsenal side XI, by the way. That's weak enough for me. (Not saying we should beat it. But it's far from full strength Arsenal.)
