Well that was a poor game. Shows how weak our 2nd string attack is and why we have to strengthen in summer.
Thought ox was good when came on and looked only one capable of running forward with ball.

**** results from united and spurs, 2nd is gone now. Could be effectively 5 ahead of Chelsea if then win both games in hand so still have room for msnouvre but not a lot. If we’re 5/6 ahead when we play them then all good. Anything less will be a worry

 

I agree. Shows a real soft underbelly.

2nd and 3rd are gone imo. I agree we need to be thinking Chelsea are 5 points bavk so need 4 wins and the games to win are very winnable... if we focus

I would take the draw with Everton considering that we are without some key players, but the draw at Anfied is unforgiveable.

I would say little room if we do not want that Chelsea match to be a ‘Do or Die’ match where we have to get something. All depends of whether Chelsea win their games in hand. Assuming the worse case scenario where they do win those then, us losing the next match (or drawing the next 2 matches) bring them within 2 points of us, meaning we then need to get something from the Stamford Bridge match.

We need to match their results so that they don’t reduce the gap, (And thank goodness they lost against Spurs rather than drawn - the room for manoeuvre would be have been even less )

 

if we can't win those 4 other games we don't deserve 4th.

You were there for the taking. Once we started actually taking the game to you in the last 15 we cut you to shreds and missed 2 or 3 absolute sitters. Calvert Lewins miss at the end was a shocker.

Disappointed in Walcott, as he and Seamus could have had Klavan on toast all afternoon but didn’t get at him anywhere near enough.

Without Salah you don’t carry anywhere near the same level of threat.

 

We probably should have went 2 up earlier, we definitely were looking for the draw by 75 mins and looked completely flat and out of gas

You should have won it in the last 15 mins alright. but we probably should have been leading by then.. so.. case of the shoulda's I guess. It was a poor game
