Well it's all a bit odd, I don't see how it would benefit the Russians or the Brits (and it hasn't) probably Ukraine or Georgia being very sneakily clever!
How would any politition have handled this different? They have just stated things that happened. They have a good idea where the stuff originated from intelligence. They have obviously enough to persuade 27 other nations to accept their findings. While I agree a lot of people were interested at having a go at the Ruskies. They know that but it’s their own fault for contemplating some of the crappie things they do. It is their own fault in a lot of ways.
it's just wrong that people are bickering about politics on the gardening thread - i'm reporting them to Chilco and Beddy right now!
Plenty of people survive nerve agents administered by dermatological contact (as this seems to have been) as it's only slowly taken into your system. Even noticing your hands had something sticky on them and washing them might save you, let alone treatment later. In the Tokyo attacks by Aum Shinrikyo, there were 50 survivors for every death. Possibly they thought that an attack on Skripal in Inverness might not be as effective as one in Salisbury. Where he lives. Vin
Totally agree with this statement. I think it was most probably the Russians but I don’t know for sure. What I do know is that May’s reaction to it has helped her standing whilst Corbyn has been getting a kicking for asking for proof.
Here's a good article on why you might survive a nerve agent attack, no matter how deadly the substance. Written by an expert: http://www.politics.co.uk/comment-a...sting-why-didn-t-the-skripals-die-on-the-spot Vin
And Boris told a big fat lie when he said the day after it happened that Porton Down had categorically proved the nerve agent was of Russian origin. They themselves said they hadn’t a few days later. I’m going to leave this now, because this isn’t the Politics thread.
