I know your comment wasn't aimed at me, but I never or try to never use the word UNLUCKY when we do lose games or draw games because of things like hitting posts etcetc<ok>

    I don't take that score prediction thing seriously. I used to put a 0.0 and now it's a 3.0 win to the opposition......tongue in cheek(oh I hope Brissie doesn't read that)<yikes>

    Good evening all

    Positives

Hernandez scintillating form + his lovely goal
    Peacock-Farrell saves
O'Connor's cool, calm & collected debut (although poor marking for their goal)
    Created several scoring opportunities

    Negatives

    We played 80 minutes without a centre-forward
Dallas screwed up every cross (double-figures)
    Dallas defending
    Berardi a liability
Missed the target far too many times
    Don't shoot enough
Never got enough players in the opposition's box when we're on the break
    Poor retention of the ball
    Rarely win 50/50 balls
    Minimal pressing/closing down
Often choose the wrong passing options
    Dreadful crosses

    8 - Peacock-Farrell
    1 - Dallas
    7 - Jansson
    6 - O'Connor
    1 - Berardi
    5 - Vieira
    5 - Phillips
    5 - Alioski
    6 - Saiz
    8 - Hernandez
    0 - Lassoga
    4 - Roofe
    4 - Ekuban

Stay on topic please or move it to another thread.

1964- wasn't it Dallas who started the movement for Pablos goal?

Am I not on topic Bucks ?

Yes Dallas made an easy pass to start the move, something many of players find difficult to be honest

Dallas was woeful today, his worst performance in the white shirt of Leeds

Personally I thought Dallas did ok. I thought he was a winger, if so he is being asked to play not in his natural position. He works his bollox off from what I've seen of him. <ok>

Yeah sorry pal that was a generalisation then an opinion, I should have posted them separately to avoid confusion!

What did you think of BPF have we got a future star there or is he made to look good by the other two we have had in goal this season ?

I’m happy to slam the team when we play bad but that wasn’t a bad performance today. We would have won that 9/10 times and those shots that rattled the woodwork were great efforts. Some of the attacking link up play was great to watch. If you could have had Forshaw and Ayling in that team then we were only a LB and Striker short today.

Dallas isn’t a RB so I feel we’re being a little harsh on him. Vieira was better second half when Phillips went off, I actually felt Phillips was the better of the two up until the substitution I think it is one or the other not both with those two but with Forshaw out not much choice.

I’ve been critical of us recently but a lot of what’s been posted in this match day thread is just being critical for the sake of it or is it because it’s habit? Seriously do those being negative today honestly think we were that bad, I honestly felt that was an improvement?

Your number one negative was the catalyst for a lot of the rest, I too would have scored Lasogga 0. He offered zero threat, he stood on the shoulder of a defender the entire game (making passes to him impossible) He made token closing down attempts but lack of genuine effort and pace meant a pass out was always easy as the player had time. Zero runs pulling defenders out of position and lack of shots from our striker, it really was like playing with 10 men.

Roofe who got a lot of stick before he was out injured, was bright and pacy and I've always liked the way he plays Imo with a lot of honesty<ok>

Trouble with Roofe is he has 1 very good game then 2 or 3 very bad one's - which is not good enough at this level!
Just seen Sunderland's goal - their attack came about after a kicked clearance by your young keeper fell way inside your half, he needs to sort that out or he won't be 1st choice next season!!

The striker situation is a tad depressing for me as I don’t feel Roofe, Lasogga or Ekuban are good enough, maybe Ekuban will improve next season or with a few goals and confidence but I felt the same about Roofe last season and both Roofe and Ekuban seem a bit injury prone.

Looking back at January when I initially felt we’d done good business it was actually very costly, an injured Striker, injured Midfielder and worst LB since Bessone. I can’t help wondering where we would be had we signed a top quality striker and a decent LB. Dallas as a make shift RB and Berardi out of position on the left is costing us.

If he's a winger how come every cross (about 12 in all) either didn't beat the first man, were too long or straight into their keepers gloves. Dallas is certainly not a full-back as he gives wingers too much space to run into & is turned inside out far too often

    No problem Bucks

Without doubt our best keeper of the three. Had a really good game today, kept us in the game with some decent saves, a couple of good throw outs & seems a good kicker with the ball at his feet. Have a feeling we'll sign a more experienced goalie in the summer, if so BPF would be a very able deputy, we need two decent keepers as oppose to the two clowns that started No.1 & 2 this season

Was our 2nd best player only to our little Spanish magician whom was immense again. Radz needs to sign him up FFS

Does that excuse him for a dozen poor crosses then ?

Dallas, Lassoga & Berardi were not at the races today, maybe if these three had shown a bit more quality & in Lassoga's case more effort we'd have won that game today
