I don't think we'd have to do that well tbh. The only way it would be worse is if we looked like going and/or we had big problems with Gao.

I haven't enjoyed this PL season at all apart from maybe Everton and Spurs and Boufal's goal against West Brom (I don't go to away games) and the football and atmosphere has been mostly abject, so I can't say that watching Championship football at SMS bothers me that much and we will probably see younger players like Sims, Hesketh, Targett and McQueen getting their chance to develop and shine. Edit: The bottom line is that I just want to be reasonably excited and entertained and to feel a bit of pride and identify with the team, for whatever reason, that hasn't happened much this season.

That's committed. Following Saints through the eyes of Adam Blackmore might be fun for some, it's not my preferred method. Seriously though, this might be surprising to "core supporters", but some Saints fans have actually managed to escape from Southampton. Some even never lived there before and just picked it up, even from exotic places like Canada! You might enjoy the Championship more, but we have to get lost.
Yeah if/when we go down I won't be on here as much as I won't be able to see the games so seems pretty pointless discussing them
