I said it was a pen, but not handball. And you're 18 yards out with the Valencia analogy.

The police chose the route. Not sure why they (the police) insisted on publishing it so vehemently.

Interesting comments above. None I'm surprised by or got a problem with. However, as long as you turn a blind eye/condone such behaviour then you have to accept the consequences that go with it. UEFA hate English clubs and with (a) Guardiola being such a high profile figure in Europe and (b) Liverpools previous troubles in Europe it won't be a surprise when disciplinary action will be taken at the meeting after the Champions League Final.

It was just a fubar. . They changed the route on fan safety issues bevause of a building site which meant they then said the new route.

Instead of just saying "the bus isn't going down that way due to...." and not naming the new route...ok the locals will guess there's only so many ways in but...daft to actually state it.

Doesn't take away from personal responsibility .... knowing a route doesn't make you throw stuff....being a **** does.

You may need to read all comments since the match.. . It's boring and a bit of an effort... but if you are looking for the feeling we have rather than an excuse to have a pop it's the thing to do....

Blind eye? Can you explain how Liverpool FC chose the route, as you claimed in your point? And how is pointing out that obvious falsehood 'turning a blind eye'? Can't be arsed re-writing what I said further up the post, but your sweeping assertion that we are 'turning a blind eye' should qualify you as a Sun journalist.

Back to the football. May be nothing but Grujic isn't playing for Cardiff tonight and isn't on the bench either. Of course, he may be injured.

Liverpool FC(along with many other clubs from home and abroad)have been punished in the past for what happened in the past, it seems you have a hidden agenda, just say what you really want to say and be done with it?

Just been reading about the Rangers supporters rioting at the Uefa Cup final in Manchester, seems Uefa punishment policy on that occasion never fitted the crime.

"UEFA’s director of communications William Gaillard said on Thursday.

“We’ll have to await the delegates report... but regarding the stabbing, firstly we wish the victim a speedy recovery. Yes, it did take place within the parameters of the stadium and these Rangers fans managed to get into the Zenit zone.
“But this was a small group of individuals for which the clubs and the majority of fans which behaved very well cannot be punished nor held accountable for,” he told Reuters.

“But clubs are responsible for the behaviour of their fans inside the stadium, so yes, we could take action over the pitch encroachments if we find any blame with the club.”

So the was a stabbing of a Russian supporter within the stadium perimeter but as it was by a small group of individuals(Rangers fans) the club weren't to blame.

Out of the thousands outside of the ground the other night a few individuals threw objects at the coach, as such the club can't be blamed based on the Rangers incident, right?
Nah, they're like the FA and make it up as they go along.
Just like their delegate somehow heard the Liverpool fans at OT sing "oh Manchester is full of ****e" from the away section but strangely missed the much louder "murderers" echoing all around the stadium, LFC were fined for obscene chanting and the Mancs got away with it.
Doesn't bode well for us methinks.

No hidden agenda from my part. I just find it sad that your own fans bury their heads in the sand and pretend nothing has happened when your own manager has already apologised for it. At least Klopp had the balls to accept responsibility. It's a shame that more of the fans can't.

Okay I'll play your game, so....Klopp apologised, LFC apologised, nobody on our board condones what happened, so who do you know that is pretending it never happened?

I don't need to, I haven't saw anyone condoning the throwing of objects at the city bus on this thread, so kindly give the comment numbers please.

    Cheers.<ok>

I can see why DeBruyne said the bus thing was nothing, it was nothing. "Attack" <laugh>

Ah, turn it in lad, KDB actually said he enjoyed the experience and that he took no offence, sharing what KDB said by one poster is hardly an avalanche of us condoning it ffs.<laugh>

it'll still be a fine btw.

anyway.... such behaviour hasn't been condoned in any shape and all you've done is embarrass yourself.
