Think you're right about the foul - it was just like the one on Mane on Saturday. Handball is ludicrous unless he could levitate his body as he slid along. Wasn't like it came at him from twenty yards and he moved his arm towards it like Valencia did.

<laugh> Projecting anger is so 2011, though I do admit people not understanding the words they use can be irritating.

Just a bit of jousting mate :D

But do take tongue and cheek comments and make them absolute and attack them with words of the wrong meaning, by all means <ok>

Nobody forced him to slide, miss the ball, get the man and handle the ball. Bit different to having a ball kicked at you from 2yrds

I'd be well pissed off if handball had been given for that.

Liverpool FC asked them to go there. Why? It wasn't to be a polite welcoming party. It was to intimidate.

That was the sole reason for the request.

But it went far further than that. This wasn't the actions of a few mindless individuals. This was organised criminality involving hundreds of people.

Intimidation of opponents isn't illegal or against Uefa rules and is and has always been widespread in European games, but throwing objects at vehicles on a public road is, hitting police officers with flying objects while in the line of their duty is also.
The intimidating welcome for City was planned but if you're saying that the throwing of objects at the coach were pre-planned you need to give your head a shake.

He obviously doesn't know that it's been a tradition for several years in euro competitions that the coaches are greeted by our fans on the approach to the ground. There's never been any trouble - ever. Why it happened this time is anyone's guess. People spreading vile, agenda-ridden untruths like this sad individual need to take a long hard look at themselves. Inciting hatred is one step away from inciting violence.

Spot on, it's been going on since(and probably before)our European Cup semi final in 1964, Inter Milan paid hundreds of supporters to sing and make noise outside the Liverpool team hotel the whole night before the game and the police turned a blind eye.
Needless to say Shanks wasn't a happy chappy.<laugh>

I watched the video and hundreds of missiles did not hit that bus and the only real damage was the driver door glass you tin foil hate wearing fruitcake

ffs even DeBruyne said it was nothing, and he was on the bus, and you all enraged from your couch <laugh>

Now insinuating the club had a hidden meaning in their request to supporters lol

If he'd got the tackle right, it wouldn't have been handball. He ****ed the timing up and, foul or handball, it should have been a penalty. Glad it was missed mind :)

I've been on bricked buses in Dublin in the past, and I can tell you, the Anfield thing although ******ed, was nothing in comparison, the driver door glass got cracked, were as the buses I was on in Dublin west, windows came exploding in on top of you and rocks flying though.

The panto over this is ****ing hilarious and the media love to make a fuss over trouble in Liverpool, this story would already be dead if it happened in London or Manchester

No. Did earlier, at first viewing and at normal speed I thought it was a great tackle.

It is a big European Anfield thing, Man City weren't singled out.
