    twat.

there's no wriggling out of bad **** with blaming others.

just accept.it and make.sure.nothing like it ever happens again.

and that starts with organisers of events. if they can't control what might happen then they cant do it

No mate, doubt it was to be taken seriously and anyway Carragher is a blue nose so he wouldn't be saying it.

I don’t understand this wish to blame the police or any one else. The culprits are the hooligans who follow us and think they are clever. In fact what they have done is tarnish a great victory. Although city have not themselves attributed their demolition to that attack, there must be some doubt amongst many people that their players could have been traumatised, even slightly.

The club will be punished or fined by the actions of some brainless idiots. What do they think they could achieve by attacking the coach of a opposition team? This is a sporting event FFS.

it gives man city and certain pundits and excuse.

    It tarnishes lfc.

this coach thing was planned for weeks since the draw. now similar events probably wont be tolerated in future.

in 2013/14 there was huge positivity gained out of these events.

i suppose the question now is will fans be able to greet own bus coming to ground still and is there two safe routes to send away bus a different and excluded zone away form home fans.

nobody can stop idiots doing something but the club can organise fan zones away from one side.

Not an excuse but being an English team made it worse. If that was Barcelona or Bayern I'm sure it would have been hostile without projectiles.

In his interview he made comments about a Spanish referee which seems to have gone un noticed.
We are just going to have to sit and wait this out because whatever is said it has still gone down as our fans :(
    These people are not fans
The suicide squad at Burnley used to travel miles to cause trouble
I am certain there is a conspiracy in here
We go years doing this and no trouble
Pep says it’s a problem - suddenly trouble
I have said it before I don’t like pep he is a weasel, he was as a player and it is clearly in his attitude as a manager.

We did the same with buses when Jose came with Chelsea and they won 2-0. Much prefer Jose as he is up front and in your face

Pep even last night said he had no complaints then started sowing the seeds of complaints
At least Jose just comes out with it.

Anyway great night - hope the police round up all involved in the trouble and we take our fine/game behind closed doors then that’s the end of it.

Utterly embarrassed, and said so last night. FFS, the Mail is now running as many bus stories as they are over our best night in Europe this decade, Dortmund notwithstanding. I think the club should put a £50k reward out for any information that leads to a successful conviction, or convictions. And whose idea was it to publish the time and route of the bus? Magnet to our inexcusable, knuckle-dragging faction.

City were practically dead and buried at the final whistle last night: now they're aggrieved victims and the press and public will be even more behind them.

No sorry jb not having that
    There were no ‘fans’ there
I have said this for years
I do not care what shirt these people wear to hide their motives
    But they are not fans
This happened at our game so it’s our responsibility
We need to be working as fans to root these bastards out not tackling them but getting the info to the correct people.
They ruin the best nights for the real fans who were there having a great time
    It has ruined the result

Normally like Astro - still do - but there is a line and it’s here
At end of day we are all fans
That **** last night was awful
Whilst I sort of agree it is a police matter - fans can do their bit without getting involved with these arseholes. There were whole families there Last night.
    It’s a game ffs

City fans aren't known for their friendliness, especially at the Etihad, hope there's no retaliation/retribution next week, look no further than what happened when we played Utd in the Europa League to see what could happen.
It's terrible that we can't savour such a brilliant night's football and have to relive the coach attack instead.

A few idiots throwing things at the bus doesn't make the others who turned out to have the bus run the gauntlet - (fair enough imo) - suddenly not be fans. The well behaved ones far outweighed the hooligans. As we all know though, the few spoil it for the many time and again.

Lifetime ban from Anfield for the fans if caught: and whatever criminal charges the police feel is appropriate.
