What has happened to Fraser Forster> From being in England contention, it now appears that Saints will send him out on loan next season. Would/should we be interested again? Wages?
Please let this Suzanne Klatten story be true. We really need a RICH female at the helm. Is Norwich twinned with anywhere in Germany? If not, maybe time we were.
A very good read and offers hope and an insight into future progress of NCFC! http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...ly-focused-on-a-return-to-the-premier-league/
Interesting that we've already signed a player for the summer, but not announced it yet. That is, unless this article was written before we signed the non-league striker was announced.
That would be a major signing. Take some of the sting out of JMs' departure, unless we get him back on loan for the season.
Just think of all those non-league Germans we can buy for about £500,000 a pop. Some of them might even be footballers!
To expand: TESTIMONIAL FOR WES HOOLAHAN (SW) Q: Will there be one? A: Not this season as the pitch is being replaced and both parties are still discussing his future both in terms of Daniel Farke's plans and what Wes wants to do. It was made clear that this process will be completed well before the end of the season so that if he leaves he will be given the opportunity of a proper send off at the last home match. However, the club is also totally committed to providing a testimonial for him as he is held in the highest esteem by everyone there.
Here's the answer to our current malaise please log in to view this image Craig Brown@craigbrown2015 Why don’t Norwich fans just invade the pitch at the next home game & get Delia & Michael’s face - tell them to sell their shares to the fans - so we can have our football club back. Delia & Michael have taken my club to hell - considering not going to any more away games.
Our demise is not Delia and Michaels fault. Blame the Senior CEO,S etc for wasting our income on poor signings and inflated wages. It has been downhill since Lambo departed
Actually BB, it was going rapidly downhill whilst Lambo was still our manager - I think the team picked something like 7 points from their last 8 or 9 games under PL.
I'd point out promotions since Lambert departed a reasonable upswing at the time. I was more nervous when McNally exited to be honest. I'm still keen to see what Webber can achieve though and back him to have us "upswinging" again in the future.
I know Tettey has his critics but we are a better team with him in it !! Nice one NCFC and Alex Tettey.
As ever with these things, the devil is in the details we don't get to see. We know Tettey was on higher wages than we want to be paying, and his knees mean he already can't play every game, something which will no doubt worsen as he approaches 34. That said, we definitely need a robust presence in midfield, and he offers it. Farke knows Tettey's strengths, and Tettey knows what Farke is like, so there's not the same issues with a new signing - something which might not have ended up being cheaper anyway when you consider wages + transfer fee. With Thompson and Godfrey to presumably come into the senior side next season, we'll be well stocked in the DM department. If Tettey has taken a reasonable pay cut to be in line with what the management want to be paying, then I think this is good business.
