Morning all. Sunny spells and dry all day they say, Out with the wellies and my boards to walk on and I might get my cabbages planted. I put some shallots in a week ago protected by cloches and they seem to be doing well with some nice strong shoots. The growing season is late, but seems to getting on with it now it has warmed up.
Officially grumpy old man age today... Pension coming in [emoji41]. Champagne just about to be opened in deepest France.. Cheers Sent from my G3121 using Tapatalk
Finally news on my follow up, my blood count has improved enough for my procedure to go ahead on Monday at 1230.
Me too Dave. Mrs L hopes to find out what they can do about the conflict between the cancer and heart medication on Monday too. She has to inject at home at 6a.m. and then get to the Royal Free for a blood test at 10.00. That will be a tight squeeze - just have to hope there is no rail strike or any other hold up as the journey time on a good day is only a little under 4 hours.
Good wishes one and all... Sunny evening here in paradise... And the G and T had hit the spot... Sent from my G3121 using Tapatalk
Starting to get hot as hell here, 24 now and it is 9pm. Glad to have got the mosquito nets fitted so all windows are open now. Poor old weather, it can never win. Apart from that a local priest / vicar whatever the bastard is that I have met once was sent down for 90 years for child abuse. Why does this happen so much? Not being able to do the business must make the mind go crazy. There is certainly a high % of them that do it compared to others in society. Hope he gets what he deserves in prison. I am sure he will here. At least, for once here justice in the courts has been served. Meh, Friday tomorrow and the Mrs is away the next two weekends so plenty of pool to be played something I am damn good at as played so much snooker as a teen that pool is matchsticks and marbles. hahahahahaha
