That's a damn good BACK FOUR........ C'mon you Reds! Or should that really be blacky, greeny, stripey things???
Drop everyone who looks flash in training when the pressures off and play the carthorses. (and then when we lose moan about the lack of creativity) sorted!

No complaints there, all I ask for is that effort is seen to be made for 90+ mins and that Arsenal will know they have been in the toughest game of the season so far!! That represents progress, given recent weeks.
Ever the optimist, strangely I have no expectations for this. None. I had so many for WH, I think I must have used them all up. Such as shame. Still gutted. I need the players to recover belief (my). Very selfish of me.
I have been pretending to be hopeful for several games now....I can't even imagine what winning feels like.
We have 1 win in 18 games yet are only 2 points from safety (with a game in hand). The Premier League is ****
The Newcastle and West Ham matches have knocked the stuffing out of me. Was so up for those as well as Stoke at home. We are so close to being out of this - just a few wins... but I don't think we have the quality or grit to beat any team in this division at the moment. It could all change within a couple of matches so will continue to give my all to support the boys and then save my rants for between games.
We're only two points away from being out of the drop zone but we continue to be so, so ****. It really is frustrating.
We really need Arsenal to turn on the style tonight, so when we meet them on Sunday they have one foot in the next round of the Europey, and their heads in the clouds. Then, with a little help from fickle Fortune, we bring them crashing down to earth. Sounds realistic.
I'd say the other way, we need them to struggle tonight so next weeks game is crucial. If they win comfortably tonight then they might be happy to just coast next week which makes it less likely they rest players against us.
My thinking is that Arsenal often follow a good performance with a poor one. We're probably ****ed either way though.
Or look at things this way ~ on Saturday evening, Crystal Palace, Huddersfield, Stoke and Swansea could (will?) have failed to pick up a single point from their games. Would certainly make the trip to face Arsenal seems less daunting
Agree. Letting in 6 goals to nil in 'winnable' games has robbed me of what hope I had.....especially as one game was after a managerial change. Will always support the team, but we need a bit of help from other teams to squeeze our way out of this pickle.
Okay, I had a positive thought. Hughes has only had one PL game with this squad, during which he will have learned an awful lot about the mental calibre of some players. The players *should* also be keen to respond in the correct manner. They have egos and nobody really wants a relegation on their CV. We have a chance. It’s a little one, but a chance nonetheless. Along with Chelsea, Arsenal are probably the best ‘top’ club we can hope to play currently.
The team should play this like a cup final that they are expected to lose....no point in going into their shells. If you go down, you might as well go down with some dignity and fight.
