Supermod trying to compare Hysel with a few dickheads last night. https://www.not606.com/threads/comm-yer-twat.360371/page-2#post-11618495
Not even close to a comparison. Stupid comments from brb, don’t know why he’d go down that route. A few people throwing a bottle at a coach and causing bit of cosmetic damage is not the same as death of a number of people
I agree, no excuse for last night and I hope the idiots are dealt with but to try and compare and say no lessons have been learned is silly.
I bet these muppets said **** all when we had English fans being stabbed in Italy or Manchester being trashed by Rangers fans. Bellends! !!!!
Will I get banned for saying what a prick? Who cares...what a prick. Worse still to make out like you were defending the idiots. No one condones that ****. It didn't intimidate, it just put our club at risk. They should be jailed. To make comparisons with an event where people died to score points would get you banned on this board but I suppose little men with big power .....
Disgraceful comment that. Utterly disrespectful to the poor souls who lost their lives comparing it to a coach with a cracked window and a few flares ...... really. The 'football fans' - and I use the term loosely, who want to go down that route are very sad indeed.
If those comments had been made by anyone but a supermod I'd have been on the mod board asking for action, even if it was just a ban from the Liverpool despite them never visiting. No excuse as far as I'm concerned.
He's saying that the 2nd comment is not referencing Hillsborough but make your own mind up... "If this had happened the other way around, there would be court cases and calls for immediate police resignations."
Of course it references Hillsborough, strangely though he seems to imagine there has been no football related violence since Heysel. I can't be arsed cataloguing it but there has been **** loads from many clubs, as for his pont about City asking for the result to be overturned, the attack on the bus happened on a public road and not inside the ground, Uefa(in the past)have always pointed out that incidents like the two lads getting murdered by Galatasary fans was out of their jurisdiction, the same with the multiple stabbings of away supporters in Italy. Although I could be wrong?
The morons who attacked the coach hopefully will be identified and punished - they have no place in our club, imo. Although there is obviously no comparison between last night and and a true disaster, except in the minds of idiots, there are those who will unscrupulously use it to further their own agenda and we will see it used as another stick to beat our club and there will be further snide references to past tragedies. I've been in several supporters' coaches in the past that have been attacked by rival "fans", it's plain ****ing stupid on anyone's part but particularly so when we know full well the associations that will be made.
I reacted in anger but quickly changed my mind. As I said I'm not letting idiots drag me down to their level - but good to know you've got my back please log in to view this image
If he carries on I'll ask him to adhere to a ban in principle from our board. Anyone else would be banned so he shouldn't be treated any differently.
