It's good in that we're not paying over the odds to intermediaries. Also means the less spent on agents, the more money there is to be used elsewhere.
(( now I don't want you to think that I'm going to ' bash ' Mr.Scally - just because he had a sense of humour failure with me at Southend )) - BUT - surely the figures give a very good indication if a club has spent money recruiting players - you know - like what we haven't for several years. Spending money on players is no guarantee of success - but usually it is.
