Aston Villa £5.5m, B/Ham £2.5m, Brentford £1.7m, M/Boro £2.5m,S/Land 4.4m, Wolves £2.0m, Bristol City £850K, only 6 teams spent less than us in the Championship, we have batted way and above our spend this season, there is no denial.

It does open your eyes a bit but there is nothing like success.

I would have thought the Wolves figure would be higher?

Jorge Mendes probably gave them a discount as Wolves owners Fosun own part of his agency company. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Also agents fees are often paid over the years of their players' contracts - that means Wolves still have a lump to pay out on their purchases.

As far as ours are concerned, the figure is inclusive of a lump for players we re-signed. Although they cost nothing because they were already on our books, the new contracts to Ken Zohore, Sean Morrison, Sol Bamba, Bruno Manga and Lee Peltier would have all attracted their agent's fees.

Yes the re-signing/new contracts for existing players is something that people (including me) forget

Just shows the gulf in financial clout in this league. Also shows that us and Milwall are doing very well vs cost outlay, as everyone above us has spent at least double, if not more.
