Yeah that the problem, I'd be willing to do something to help the club and I know others who would as well but I also know some people who would be straight off for a pint or straight home. I don't understand it. They complain about Ashley etc but they aren't willing to try anything (other than looking like muppets on SSN) to get him out. I'm not sure what a sit in would achieve but I'd be willing to try it. After all it's better than doing nothing and it's certainly better than the daft protests.

 

About a week ago, my mod powers don't work on the Newcastle board though. Just the Spanish, German, Italian & French leagues.

 

Could do it at a Sky/ESPN match or at a non televised one.

FFS - I was just starting to get used to the fact that we could all have a reasonable debate, and then this. Why don't people realise we are just making ourselves look daft having ****ing protests.

Ashley has done some daft things since he took over, but if it wasn't for him then this club could have gone the way of Portsmouth/Plymouth etc.

We've sold Carroll and not really replaced him, however. But, due to the fact it is Ramadan, and Ba can't eat or drink during daylight hours, we certainly haven't seen the best of him yet.

Then we have Tiote, Colo, Saylor, Gutierrez, Obertan, Ferguson, Abeid, Vuckic, Krul, Harper, Gosling, Marveaux, plus probably another striker, and this lad Situ if he accepts the contract looks class. Surely we have the makings of a good team? I am really excited about this season, and if fans would just wait till the window has closed before breaking out into civil war, we might see something good. Pax Geordius Nationus.

I've heard this far too many times already and I'm getting sick of it! Like a QPR fan once said , if I saved a cat's life , does that mean I have to kick it in the face every day and remind it that I saved it 5 years ago and tell her it wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for me? No.

 

Nothing happens over there, It's as dead as the Boro board! Only thing I've had to do is move an article from tash to general chat because it was some video of Jim Carey as Lady Gaga and I felt it had nothing whatsoever to do with Italian football (plus I wanted to use my powers!). I've been trying to get more posters on there so if anyone is interested in Spanish, French, Italian or German football then you could try and use the boards.
