Getting to the business end of the champions league and possibly Buffon's retirement. A real gentleman of the sport but he's no longer the top class goalkeeper he once was, still pretty good mind. If Juve win tonight then it's all to play for but feel they have to get a result.
In far more important news, Dundee have apparently rejected a £1.3 million bid from Rosenborg for Steven Caulker !
Gigi Buffon is such a lovely bloke. He’s just seen possibly his last chance of winning the Champions League virtually disappear, but he’s congratulating each and every Real Madrid player, especially Ronaldo.
Just watching the discussion on BT Sport about how lucky we all are to live in this era of Messi and Ronaldo, who are so far ahead of any other player in the world. Possibly the 2 greatest players of all time?
Woe is me!! My beloved Sevilla lost to Bayern!! I have said it for a long time. Bayern will get to the final. I somehow sense their oponents will be Real. Both are battle-hardened and will do their utmost to win. Of the others, you feel City and Liverpool are both brilliant but can be brittle, whilst Barcelona may lack a little pace in certain áreas. I forgot about Roma, maybe they will be the ultimate winners.
I am only interested if they play for Saints or England. Do they? No....then I don't give a toss. Why would I?
Ryan Sessegnon!!!! I predict that he will be in Gareth Southgate´s World Cup squad for Russia. If Fulham fail to get promotion, there will be an almighty queue of clubs wanting to buy him. Wonder how he compares with a certain Gareth Bale, who started life in a similar position as a left back but was converted to a pacy forward?
There is one huge game on Friday night in the Championship. If Cardiff lose, could it open the door for one of the pursuers? To my mind, Fulham are the best footballing team in that división.
