    Sunderland, desperate for points to avoid yet another relegation, have won only once in their last 11 league games. They have the worst defensive record in the Championship...72 goals conceded in 40 games. They have the fewest wins of any team in the Championship this season, 6 from 40 games.

    Still, if they win maybe 4 of their last six games they might stay up...

    Chris Doleman has been in charge of Sunderland for 23 league games and in that time has Won 5, Drawn 5 and Lost 13. Under his leadership, Sunderland have won 20 points at an average of 0.86 per game. Apply this to the remaining six games and we can expect them to win another 5.16 points to leave them on 36.16 points.

    So, if Birmingham win or even draw tonight, we can conclude that the mackems will be as good as relegated...tonight :1980_boogie_down:

    By the time Priestmans of Sunderland were closing in 1933, Sunderland had already won 5 of their 6 league titles...
