    Good Morning Everyone

Who's hopeful that we can get anything from the match tonight?

    Anyone?

Well, Heckingbottom thinks we have a chance...

"With the make-up of our squad and the type of players we have, we`ve got to go there really positive and look to hurt them," Heckingbottom told the Yorkshire Evening Post.

"I don`t think I could pick a team to sit back or be defensive minded. We have to be positive when we`ve got the ball, work our socks off to stop them and control where they play their passes.

"There are plenty of teams before us who`ve said that, gone down there and come unstuck. They can be a really tough team to play against and a demoralising team to play against, with how they play. But they`re not unbeatable. We have to prepare as best we can for what they`re going to throw at us but also be really positive in what we do."

Phil Hay reckons if we are going to lose anyone in the Summer, it will be Jansson.

my gut feeling is that if anyone is going to leave it'll be him (especially if he has a good World Cup).

    Who would blame Jansson?

Morning all. Of course he’s going but that’ll be a good thing as every penny of his 8m transfer fee will be reinvested in a dozen or more players. <ok>

Tonight is a test for Hecky!! he has been in the job long enough now to see where he is in picking a team to do a spoiling job at the cottage...... l don’t think he is good enough personally and would like to see big Mick at LS11 next season.

Phil Hay needs to fck off, he is just filling space up in the newspaper, Jannson will not shine in the WC reason being he is only 2 or 3rd choice defender, if he wants away then off ya pop turnip head is my thoughts and that goes for the rest of them, especially the spitting cobra we have put on a pedastel, as I said before big Mick would sort this pile of sh I te out, and not before time, plus the fans deserve better, just hope Radz is taking note as well.

Good Morning to Matt and co from a hazy Bardsey
I also think that unless we buy Helander from Verona to be our new CB he will leave and more money will be wasted on unknown 4 division players
Sorry AR but now is the time to put your money where your mouth is
Idon't want another season of listening to the ramblings of I am always right

Morning all... If we want to keep Pontus we have to show ambition and go out and bring in some quality. Pontus obviously doesn’t feel we are under achieving and are a top 6 teams, says it all really.

    Morning all :emoticon-0148-yes:

Pontus is missing a Bartley and that has hurt us all season. Lots of talk about an 18yo from Stevenage coming in to replace Cooper next season. Hey Radz can we stop right there please. Why do we need yet another kid CB, are you saying that this kid is better than the 7 CBs we have in the U23s? We need a Wes Morgan, Kyle Bartley type player or failing that Pennington given his head. WE have a Finnish International and Dutch International, in fact a few International U23 CBs.....

A win would be recognition that PH isnt another Coleman or Pardew and just maybe a Pullis type manager. A draw would be a decent result but then the performance needs to be looked at

That would be my approach, I’d also haul him into the office now before the season ends, express my concerns about his recent comments and advise him he won’t be sold next season pointing out his contract length.

So what you are saying is that signing for LU is like a prison contract without time off for good behaviour,
Don't think that would be the right approach.

Morning pal, interesting what you're saying about big Mick. I was quite surprised how many people would not want him at ER.

Just out of interest who would take Warnock back?

Compare the two. Who would you prefer?

You can only do so much in that department because agents and advisers go off and market the players everywhere. We lost Wood and Taylor both last Summer and nothing the club could do except cash in for as much as possible. Greene also decided cash before playing time was more important so joined the doggers and has played one match all season.

We used to have the problem of a crap owner who offered new contracts but at the same pay, so we lost players like Beckford, Clayton, Snodds, Howson, Becchio. This time we have gone too far the other way and given everyone 400 year contracts so will be harder to sell some but for the likes of Ponts and Saiz we benefit if we have to sell

Good morning Mike. We certainly need a strong pairing at centre back. Why we didn't attempt to buy Bartley last summer is beyond me. The word going round was that we were going to buy Flint from Bristol city instead. He has had an amazing season. It does mean instead of buying him for 5 million, we now need to splash out double that to secure his services this summer

Morning ristac, whilst our team is not strong enough I do feel that the players are certainly underachieving. I believe that Big Mick would be able to get the players to achieve their full potential under his guidance.
