Classic Brian Cole at half time.

Wishing happy birthday to a Charlton fan called Ronald ....but calling him “Roland”

Rotherham causing us a few problems, but I've got every confidence in our tactical mastermind to tweak things at h/t.

Another fine performance, and against a side that were a cut above recent opposition.

A 200% improvement from the same players on the side that recently drew 0-0 at home to Fleetwood.

A couple of fine goals from Joe Aribo which capped a MOM performance from him in the middle. Zyro again carried more goal threat than Josh. Pearce and Bauer had good games at CB up against Michael Smith. And da Silva rightly came straight back into the side and game his usual high standard performance.

The only disappointment today was that we over elaborated & became a bit sloppy in front of goal, when more goals were there for the taking at the end.

Onwards to Bristol....and quite possibly Wembley <cheers>

A hard-fought win against a hard-working well organised team. The fans were fantastic today. And we are 6th now.

At a guess 11/12,000, a fairly small Rotherham contingent.

So attendance was up by about 5,000 on the last couple of games of Karl Robinson's time. Well over 10,000 actual Charlton fans inside the Valley.

I think now is the time to admit I was wrong to take a stand for something I thought was important, but does not actually matter at all.
Over the last 30 months or so I have sounded off at great length about principles and injustice, about identity and tradition, values and history. It was arrogant presumption on my part to believe that what I was saying might reflect the way some other fans also felt.

I owe Lee Bowyer a favour. As well as taking charge of our first team in a masterful way, he has shown me that I was mistaken in so many ways. I cannot hide now from the fact that there was only ever one thing wrong at Charlton Athletic.

I owe a lot of people an apology, because I have said some pretty unkind things about them since September 2015. In future I will devote my energies to doing what a fan should do - supporting my team.

Another terrific win today, well done to Lee Bowyer and the lads. I really believe now we have a fantastic chance of getting to Wembley, and then back to the Championship.

    Up The Addicks!

The queues were a lot longer outside today and there were far fewer gaps throughout the Covered End.

If we do miss out in the play offs - and we need to be near perfect in our remaining games to do it - the fault will rest with one Scouse clown only.

A job in stand-up awaits him. The new Ken Dodd?
Did you see what happened to Fosu? Usually when a player goes down with no-one near him it's a bad one. We badly need his guile for the run-in.

He was holding the back of his leg - looked like he pulled something.

Kaikai is half the player Fosu is.

We could play Page at Left Back and DaSilva at Left midfield

Question, where would people rather come, 4th/5th or 6th? I'd gladly play Rotherham over two legs after today, and think we can do the Shrews, odds on us to go up must have plummeted

    That's almost Shakespearian..................

All that angst and all possibly for nothing. Momentum lads is all you need now and there are a couple of sides with it in buckets full. I think it's us Greens who need a visit to the wailing wall as we have slipped from play off position to almost mid table mediocrity. There will be a few sets of supporters quietly farting into their briefs and hoping it's only wind that's causing the smell right now.

Wigan have been head & shoulders the best team I have seen in League 1 this season. They are the only team I would want us to avoid in the Play Offs. I think we would substantially outnumber them at Wembley though <cheers>

A tale told by an idiot. Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
Sums up I have been doing for two and a half years.

From an outsiders perspective, Plymouth have punched above their weight this season after a poor start. I think most pundits / League one managers expected the top 3 to be Wigan, Charlton and Blackburn. We have woefully underperformed thanks to the tactical genius of Karl “4-2-3-1 until I die” Robinson.
