Passed out behind the wheel if my car last Monday . Thank **** nobody else injured . They thought I had Scarlett fever , so put me in isolation . It was a particularly nasty flu virus that affected my mineral levels and kidneys . Not allowed to drive for a while , which us fair enough .
Glad you're ok and out of hospital now Jasper. Oh and **** the flu. It's far more serious than a lot of people give credit. Amazing the amount of people who think the flu is just like a bad cold
Yes . I saw the infectious diseases specialist . She said people forget the Flu can , and does kill !
Can fully believe it too. I'm fairly fit and healthy but I've had the flu twice and it's beaten the **** out of me both times.
Watching Jurassic Park, planning next years ski trip. Which is late Easter so this is a bit premature to be honest! Spent the whole four days off more or less dog sitting, bar a round of golf Saturday afternoon. Easter has been ****e.
wow sounds like a close shave. Just glad you made it out alive and without hurting anyone. Dont think i've ever had flu so wouldn't know how it feels
All the best Jasper ... couldn't drive for 6 weeks after my heart op ... was Fookin frustrating I have to admit
The weird thing is , this has never felt like the flu as in , heavy cold if that makes sense , high temp and the shakes etc yes , but no real cold symptoms . Weird ! Just shows how many variants there are !
No mate. We've ended up with one, and he's a delight, chuffed to have him, but have also had the in law's three dogs foisted on us all weekend. All four together have been a massive pain in the arse. I've got three kids to be bothered with, throw all this into the mix and the whole long weekend has flown by in a blur! Back to ****ing work tomorrow too. Drank loads of wine though, to dull it all out like.
Been to work. A medium/heavy day. Good workout. Got home, Spartacus was on. Now a few beers. Plus booked my holiday time off. Now i'll have to start looking at flights.
Where you off? I went to Mystic Mountain today to face my fear of heights. I done it but it wasnt enjoyable in the slightest. Being suspended 700ft in the air just sat on a chair lift with a flimsy bar over me. Never ever again. I went down the mountain on the bobsled 3 tines though, absolutely loved it. You get to control the acceleration and braking. It's smart. Didn't even use the brakes on the last lap
