    LAST 12 HOME CITY ....

Bristol City centre-back Aden Flint has completed a three-match suspension and is available to face fellow play-off contenders Brentford.
Jamie Paterson was withdrawn in the second half at Barnsley on Friday but should be fit enough to feature.
Brentford will be without influential midfielder Ryan Woods, who is banned after his red card in the 1-1 draw against Sheffield United.
But Romaine Sawyers could play after serving his one-match suspension.
    Match facts
    • The Robins have won one of their last 10 league matches against Brentford (D3 L6), a 1-0 win in March 2007 in League One.
    • The Bees have won their last three league visits to Ashton Gate, winning 1-0 last season with a goal from Maxime Colin.
    • Lee Johnson has never beaten Brentford in his managerial career, failing to win in six games (D3 L3).
    • LEE needs to sort this out
    • Alan Judge has had a hand in four goals in two league appearances against Bristol City for Brentford (three goals, one assist).
    • Bristol City have lost four of their last five Championship matches played on Monday (D1), conceding 15 goals across those four defeats.
    • Brentford have alternated between a defeat and a win in each of their last nine away league games, losing last time out to Millwall.
    • After consecutive defeats by Wolves and Norwich, the Robins are unbeaten in their last five home league games (W3 D2).

Will Flint's return be the factor that takes us over the line to the playoffs, or is their another issue that has led to our recent poor form? The game against Brentford is critical to start the remainder of the fixtures and we take them lightly at our peril.

We will know before kick off our starting position in the league today! PNE v Derby

7th or 8th depending on PNE winning or 7th and still 7th with equal, 62 points 1 point behind or 3 depending on DERBY!
I would like to see PNE win worst case draw even worse lose! A PNE win keeps more teams in the pot!

Sounded like our worst performance of the season, which at this point is highly disappointing. At times this season you could accept a poor result here & there for whatever reason, but we have pretty much a full squad, who should've had a good rest over the international break.

I've said before, compared to pre-season expectations it's still been a good year, but what a let down it's been given where we were. It's the norm for most football fans to be frustrated with their team, but then you get a good spell to get excited about. Unfortunately, ours seemed to end pre-maturely. Amazingly we're still in with a shout of the playoffs, but I don't have faith that we'll do it. Good performances are now far too infrequent.

That was awful RR will be on here later and today I can’t and won’t defend the team after watching that.

Looks like we may be starting another 5 year plan any time soon. I'll be perfectly blunt in saying, or asking, if we have any idea what we want? A promising season appeared in our grasp and, although we've had some memorable moments, the year 2018 has been a total disappointment for me especially when you look at the games that we should, and could, have won. The table shows that we are not the only ones to slip from our perch and only poor results from our opponents is the reason we are technically still in with a shot of the playoffs.

Is the organisation really ready for a chance at the big time???

To be fair, in terms of a 5 year plan, this season would've been ahead of schedule, so no need to rip everything & start again - we need evolution rather than revolution.

That said, there's never a guarantee in football so when opportunities come along it isn't safe to assume another chance will come around soon.
