Spot on Leazes, he's a businessman, that's what he bought the club for, a profit. Knows nothing about football or the fans.

Ba's fasting at the moment and that has obviously meant he isn't properly match fit/sharp yet - same can be applied to Tiote's poor start to the season. Thought Best was lively last night after the 1st half and won pretty much every flick on. His finishing was poor but I don't think he's a terrible finisher generally. Lova is ****e, admittely. I think we'll get a new striker in, and Shola can do a job every so often.

I honestly think people are jumping the gun and are completely blowing things out of proportion,

In reply to the players not getting the blame, it must be because they have twitter accounts and can say "I don't want to go cos I really really really love you lot!!" I agree with you both completely, I guess according to the none biased Sunderland fan (<doh>) I'm helping butt **** the club. In time, people will look back at Ashleys tenure and think 'He made a lot of naff decisions that bloke, but at least he kept the club going'. It's a bit like some people where saying "Blair was a poor prime minister, but in about 30 years, we'll probably look at him and think, 'he was alright that bloke' "

I'm glad to see the back of Barton, on another article I had a rather large rant about it, and I stand by it 150%, greedy and selfish hiding behind his internet..

I'm your boss, I piss you off, you work as hard as possible and are employee of the year, but I want a foreign worker because hes cheaper.

Nolan got 12 goals. That's enough there.
Obertan has proved nothing yet and is being used as a replacement of Barton imo.
Barton is on par with Cabaye.

Facts are, they are our best players that have been sold, and we haven't had enough quality added to replace what they brought to the team.

Mike Ashley has ruined this club and is kicking it whilst it's down. Pretty clear to me.

One worry I would say about Quinn is he is very loyal to managers.

Keane spent vast sums. Bruce has had a good purse but finally after 3 seasons in charge buys players for the long term. Last season you were full of loan signings and the current full timers will need a long time to gel.

Quinn has taken a risk supporting Bruce for this long and if it doesnt gel soon then he may be out and what does the next incumbent get?

Yes. Our board hasn't been open or making the signs of improving obvious but the club is still on a far more secure footing to improve gradually.

Sunderland have put all their eggs in a basket and hope to make it safely to an improving position.

Sounds ****ed up for Newcastle, but the only thing that will keep us up is our defense. We have nothing up front and the last thing we need is another big man upfront. We got a draw against an Arsenal team on the drop, a win against a Sunderland team that is gelling and are under pressure to perform and creeped past a league 1 team, I'm worried. Unless we get 2/3 players in, I think we'll do well to stay up.

I agree he is... and of course there have been a lot of heated discussions on our board about whether Bruce should stay or go... end of the day though I'd still prefer an honest man who is too loyal than an arsehole who would sack a manager for whatever personal reasons were in play when Hughton was sacked.

Joey Barton's agent Willie McKay could receive more than £600,000 if his client signs the three-year deal that he has been offered at QPR

What exactly is it that you're picking up on that you're posting on the Newcastle board. It isn't because you're bothered about Ashley butt ****ing us, that would only give you great pleasure.
