More important was the fact Alli said everyone was angry about the Son antics before the third goal, but noting that the form he is currently in they could understand why he tried to score solo.
Even when being positive, they still have to bring up Alli diving: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43614585 I think it's fair, but it's not equally applied. Mane won't have a similar campaign against him, despite having done it for years.
I couldn't help but notice Danny Murphy on MOTD2 say how our attacking trio play like three number tens. Gee, I wonder where he got that insight from...
It’s where he leads you into thinking he’s calmed down.... then just erupts into rage again at the end. ****ing priceless.
Well we turned up yesterday and did ourselves justice. We are the better team and showed it Now I want to know why the slow starts to every game?
Hahaha! Some of his one liners... where does he think of them?! Genius! “Don’t let that 2ft malteaser score!!”
This season it seems to be a tactical thing that we aren't pressing for every single ball for the entire ninety minutes like we were doing in Poch's first couple of seasons, rather we're holding off to get a read on the game and adjusting accordingly - but by holding off that means we're not getting many early leads. Since it's Easter Monday and The Great Escape isn't on (and where's the tabloid fury?) here's every game we've scored within the first fifteen minutes this season Huddersfield (a) Burnley (a) Swansea (a) Man Utd (h) x2 While we obviously score a lot more goals later, it would obviously help us a lot more if we scored early and set the tone for the rest of the game - as the Man Utd game clearly demonstrated.
Indeed. How long does it take to realise that the opposition is playing busparquet and immediately switch to the anti-busparquet formation (Pochettino does have one, right ?? ) .
I think that we started slowly in this match because our system wasn't working and the half-time change saved it. It'll be interesting to see if we stick with more of a 4-3-3 once Kane's back in the starting lineup.
Eriksen dropping deeper is the anti-busparquet formation, which he's been doing in recent games (although I'll leave it to the statto masochists to trawl through all our games this season to compare whether or not he was doing the same thing a few months ago)
