The last week or so on here has been surreal to be honest. Just when you think some of the threads couldn't get any worse! <laugh>

Strange isn't it how some rave about certain movies etc.

    Neither can we. <laugh>

You been before pal? I liked it there a lot, not sure I could spend a month there though, you're likely to get eaten by bears if you go for that long.

The story for me felt like a rehash of numerous other sci fi films and was then really quite badly acted.

    Thanks and **** you <grr>

Nope not been before. Done the west coast of the Americas from Guatamala right up to Oregon (not in one trip) but never been to Canada before.

Bears, Orca, Eagles, Wolves and the big outdoors are my kind of thing so I reckon I'll be in my element. Got my 4 year old daughter with me though so can't go too bush.

You'll love it mate. Did the Orca trip on zodiacs but not sure 4 year old's will be allowed on them.

I proposed to my ex there at Butchart Gardens, incredibly ****y ***** thing to do so glad it never lasted with her <laugh>

I'll have to check <ok>There's a fair few boat operators that do Orca trips so I'm sure one of them will be suitable for little ones. Would love to go off to some of the nearby islands for some camping too, might just have to be an overnight trip or something rather than a 5 days hike in the back country.

We’re about to head off to a seafood restaurant by the beach. Lovely day for it!

Yeah the kids just have to use the big boats I think. The Zodiac was fun but much colder!

You should get yourself up to whistler while you're there, stay over in Vancouver en route. It's stunning up there.

Giro doesn’t stretch to such luxuries.

Yes I agree the acting was not the best . Another film I saw is called the Wall about a couple of soldiers one of whom is under fire from a sniper in Iraq and hiding behind a wall . Does not sound like much , but very tense and gripping IMHO .

I blame one of my sister in laws . When she goes on holiday , it always rains . She bought a Golf convertible just over 1 week ago . She's not had the roof down once yet <laugh>
