Yes, more disciplined than Can <ok>

Sounds like Can will be fit though

You have to question Cans commitment at this stage, though he does seem to perform in the bigger games.
Milner is much more disciplined and is also right sided by nature (and has better stamina), I would go for Milner out of the two.

I don't particularly question his commitment on the pitch, its more in the medium/long term that there is a problem.
He has a physical presence on the pitch but he's not that mobile in quick, tight situations. Give him 10 yards and he's motoring.
Does have a habit of giving away free kicks in dangerous areas and picking up yellows at the same time.
Yeah, Milner has the experience and has good energy. I think Can would normally be more right sided than left though, Wijn would
    usually cover left

Go with the team that beat City at Anfield with VVD instead.

I would see Can as more central, there is a player in there when he can be arsed but in "lesser" games he tends to dominate the centre circle and not move much whilst waving his arms at other players.
The giving fouls away in dangerous areas tends to come from losing players/lack of awareness and diving in to correct a mistake or to prove he is a hard man (which he isn't).

He's really not very mobile so gets caught in possession a lot, often in areas where he shouldn't be pissing about. He's ok if he's pointed the right way and can get up a head of steam.
He needs more time on the ball than he's given in our league - maybe the Italian one will suit him better.

Play the same team and system that beat City the last time: a no brainer. No other team in England has beaten City so just logical to keep a winning team. We are the only team in England which can frighten this incredible City team.

Both teams will have chances but more than any other match we’ve got to take ours. I’ll go for a win this leg but going through over 2 legs is another matter.

2-1 with Salah scoring a brace.

David Silva is fit so we cannot afford to have Ox as a starter. He doesn't track back at all and if you watch Silva's third man runs then we will have to take a more pragmatic midfield of Can Wijnaldum and Milner.

I'd take a 6-0 win at Anfield right now...

If we were winning 6-0 I'd still want 7.

If we won 6-0 I would still be nervous anticipating a collapse in the return leg

True, although they need eight as there's no way they'll prevent us from scoring at least one in that situation.

Apparently Klopp has roughly a 50/50 success rate against Guardiola sides.... so just win the "win" more than we lose the "lose one....<laugh>
