It's not even one you can get wrong. It looked like a professional boxer versus a rookie. Parker looked no different to how he fought Hughie Fury - poor. No plan B and simply nowhere near the same class as Joshua.

I don't think it's bad at all. There's some genuinely good and exciting fighters.

And yet you've just commented on an unbeaten World Champion not being up to the job.

He wasn't. We're talking boxing general not just heavyweight.

I was talking heavyweight. As you say, the opponent wasn't up to much, but Joshua still needed to pick a ref that would help him.

You expected Joshua to knock him out I knew he wouldn't he didn't even hurt Parker
You've allowed yourself to get caught up in the Joshua hype.
I'll give credit to Joshua though I thought he would fade late on.

Maybe it’s just me, and it probably is, but I thought Parker looked the more likely to land the KO.

I thought he had Joshua rattled a few times but can’t remember Joshua ever looking like he’d knock Parker out.

I also thought the fight was a lot closer than the judges decision but what do I know?

Your quote - 'State of modern boxing'. No reference to just heavyweight.

    The Joshua hype <laugh>

He holds 4 belts. There's no hype - he's beaten every single boxer that has stepped into the ring with him.

From olley holt in the mail

The skill that Joshua needed to dispatch Parker should not be underplayed. Hughie Fury, who lost on points to Parker in September last year, had warned before the fight that the New Zealander should not be underestimated and that if he fought a smart fight, he could cause Joshua problems.

‘Joshua’s biggest asset is the fact that he can punch,’ Fury said. ‘He can knock a house down. If Parker stands in front of Joshua, he is going to get knocked out, so he has to move his head to avoid the shots.

‘Joshua has got good boxing ability but I don’t believe he will have an answer to movement.’

Well, Joshua did have an answer.

Joshua just bigger, better, more dominant. He made that fight boring and Parker couldn't or wouldn't do anything about it. When Joshua got Parker up against the ropes and the guard went down that would have turned into a stoppage or KO but for the dick ref stepping in for absolutely no reason. He spoiled the fight for both fighters and made sure it never lit up, what a useless ****.

It was a very close fight.

Parker can't have been that bad, Joshua didn't land a right hand all night.

My Mrs has the TV most of the time, as there's not much I watch. That's the compromise- she watches some right **** on the box.

Can’t believe people are complaining about Joshua been boring. He’s been one of the most exciting fighters in the past couple of years. I think he’s been told to reign it in abit and not go toe to toe so much.

Yeah let's not have an opinion because we're not professional boxers - maybe not.

    You're a dopey ****.

This is a dig about all the 'experts' having a go at Joshua for doing a professional job.
