Not his usual forwarding threat yesterday but how ****ing cool was he waiting and laying the ball off for perez. Plus his all round influence since arriving can't be underestimated.. "Kenedy has been directly involved in four goals in his first four home league games for Newcastle United" Two goals and two assists Above taken from the Sunday mirror .
It’s alright, Ashley will probably instruct Penfold to seek another year’s loan but at half the wages and then claim it’s difficult to compete with Cardiff when Kenedy doesn’t come.
He is a bit of a find, another of those players who Chelsea will no doubt let go and regret. So in the last couple of years they've allowed De Bruyne, Salah and Lukaku to go for cheap, and now they've all returned to the Prem to show Chelsea what they've abandoned.
I've been quite surprised. Didn't see too much when he was at Chelsea but I think he would say playing regular football has been really good for him and us. He's a worker too. Doesn't just sit on the edge of games. Wants to be bang involved. Hope we can keep onto him...
I think that two of the loan signings in January - Debravka, but mostly Kenedy, have got us the results that have made the difference in the table. The young lad has been amazing. Hope we can keep both of them. Kenedy may be in trouble for that ankle tackle mind.
3 clean sheets in 5 games for Dubravka and kenedy’s input have certainly turned things around for us. We just need salami to bang a few in to bring a few more points home and it’ll be a job we’ll done for Rafa. Can’t believe it’s 2014 since we last won 3 off the belt at home in the EPL either!
Dubravka didn’t have that much to do in the game, but, he does seem far more commanding of the back line than any of our other keepers. That in itself gives the defence a stronger mentality. If as is rumoured we can secure him for circa £4 million, it’s a no brainier. Kenedy has shown his class, and was cool as a cucumber in setting up Perez. Many players would have just blasted a shot at goal, but he had the vision and skill to put it on a plate for his teammate. He is making all the right noises about wanting to stay, he is young but still realises that it may be better to be a big part of NUFC than a bit part player at Chelsea. I hope we can secure him, but more important than any player, we must see Rafa committing to the club or l fear we can kiss our talent goodbye.
On the loan deal, are we paying full wages or what?Asked a question yesterday and no answer,is their a problem here, asking for a an under 21 hurler who didn't make squad but Quinn did.
Great bit of transfer business by Rafa, Charnley and Ashley. I doubt Chelsea would flog him but I'd happily take him.
