Yep, a p*ss take again. but wont effect anything. Our refs aren't bias for any other country and they cant ref our games. So wont effect us. Even if there were British Refs, we'd still get f*cked over in important games.
So, as I suspected the raising of the £5M which SW claims was done by fans; the TRUE story has emerged - Norwich fans and investors raise £5m towards new academy through bond scheme This from Steve Stone - 'The money raised will be ring-fenced, with the funds helping to pay for new pitches, the construction of a building with video editing suites, classrooms for academy players, club offices, dressing rooms and a purpose-built gym.' http://www.skysports.com/football/n...se-5m-towards-new-academy-through-bond-scheme So FML, it APPEARS our fears were groundless!!!!
I'm really not sure why anyone was against this scheme, if I had the money, I would be HONOURED to invest it in my beloved club.
Sorry Dave, I think we've got our wires crossed. I WANTED to buy my £500 worth in the Bond scheme, but the invstors have taken the LIONS' share, so there's nothing left for the likes of me. I'm in complete agreement with it, but ST holders/Members should have had first dibs - NOT allow 'get rich quick investors' to probably buy the bulk of the offer!!
Robin Sainty Interesting comment by Stuart Webber last night about his initial impression of Colney when he arrived a year ago: "The inmates were running the asylum".
Bloomin eck! Where on earth did Millwall come from? Looks like we have this seasons bolter for the playoffs, before Xmas I remember they were struggling just outside the relegation places. look at them now, just outside the playoffs. Bah!
So Wolves hang on for a win, despite being reduced to 9 men with both Neves and Doherty receiving 2 yellows. My guess is that Fulham and Villa are going to take 2 of the play-off places and any of - Derby, Middlesbrough, Bristol City, Millwall, Sheff Utd or Preston could be in the mix. It would be SOME achievement if AN could take a 2nd team to Wembley!!! Edit - Sunderland WINNING 4-1 at Derby!!!!! #unbelievable
"with one year left on his lucrative Carrow Road deal". Read it and weep. What the hell were our board thinking to offer him that length of contract?? I don't recall Alex Neil being so keen on him at Preston as he was with Norwich. Bastard http://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/canaries-naismith-future-up-in-the-air-1-5458733
You do the maths!!!? I believe his contract expires at the end of June next year, which I make 15 months time or 65 weeks and let's assume he's on £40K a week, so with a simple calculation comes to just over £2.5M. How about NCFC start negotiating at a payoff of around £500K (settle for maybe £1M) and with the money saved, but a decent Bundesliga II RB, as we don't really have cover for Pinto!! Edit - Anq we think WE have striker problems, then how about Benteke at Palar53?? So far this season, he has MISSED 20 out of 22 shots on goal and his 2 yesterday certainly cost his team 3 points!!!
Absolute donkey is a bit harsh https://www.footballinsider247.com/rangers-fans-tear-senior-player-to-shreds-for-display-v/
Seen a lot of chat on twitter suggesting Wes won't be getting a testimonial? If so that seems like a poor decision from the club.
