I wouldn't use that particular example of rhyming language in Glasgow, for reasons I'll leave to your imagination :D

Current Bun = Hun = Protestant.

50% chance of a doing if you say it out loud. :)

    FYI, the left-footer version is:

Jungle Jim = Tim = Catholic

(The Jungle is the Celtic equivalent of the Kop).

    That's a very ambiguous reply.

When we were at high school, a pal of mine was walking down a main Glasgow shopping street one 'Old Firm' Saturday, when he was approached by a gang. "Hun or Tim?" was the question, meaning he had a 50% (or possibly even 100%) chance of a doing. How he got away with it, I'll never know, but he replied "Jehovah Witness, actually. Can I interest you in one of my tracts". They let him walk on. Personally, I think it was because the yobbos had no idea what a tract was, and feared it was a weapon.

    True story, btw.

I can also recall another Old Firm Saturday when I'd got the then girlfriend onto the last train at Glasgow Central Station. I had to walk through the enormous concourse, & whilst doing so, I encountered 30-40 fights of various sizes going on. Don't think anyone was getting hurt, tbh - they were all barely able to stand. It was utterly surreal, from one on ones, to perhaps a dozen or so 'brawling'. And oddly enough, I never felt in the least endangered, possibly because I was wearing my cloaking device - my Partick Thistle hat & scarf. :D

Why look back lets look forward we need big investment in leeds utd so we can get out of the championship the owner can do that , leeds need 20 million spent on at least 6 players or more maybe 35 million pounds , a new head coach and a new director of football for next season
