Sorry I hadn’t read all the previous comments but I’ll add a couple more from the RN.........Rum Fanny...from which they dished out the daily ration of rum....lovely, Gopher.....a large wave.......Gopher Juice....glass of orange juice
I think Dawson’s best two games of the season have both been against Aston Villa. Hernandez seemed stranded up front until Toral came on. The same thing happened at Birmingham with the striker being alone until Toral came on and linked us up. Irvine is an absolute workhorse and full of effort but something isn’t quite clicking between him and the striker. Wilson is some player. Caused their right back problems (with Clark) leading to getting him subbed off for Elmo.
Keep your fingers crossed - she’ll probably be in our squad next season. You know what our scouting and transfers are like...
Bruce: I hope the club recovers. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p062xxn0 Decent interview. He just gets it, doesn’t he?
?? He failed to stay fit at the club, he's played more games this season than any of ours.. what point are you trying to make other than that?
Yep, and for disbelievers, take a look at this link. https://arrse.co.uk/arrse_wiki/index.php?title=Category:Dictionary&from=G For the skates among you (I see arrse doesn't define a skate), just click on the G at the top and go to "gash". Sail Army, Fly Navy, walk sideways.
My point, is that blaming our medical staff for a player getting a season ending injury five weeks after arriving on loan, is really daft. He’s not a sick note, as proven by his appearances since and your ‘injured half the time’ comment was bollocks.
Happy with a point and it sounds as if overall it was a good performance, especially in the 2nd half. Sounds as if Toral was good when he came on, he seems to do well as a sub, but not always as affective when he plays from he start. Dawson sounds as if he had a good game, obviously he cannot manage 3 games in a week now. On to Wolves now, certainly can't see us getting anything there, but one can live in hope.
Dawson's experience and positional sense still make him a quality player, as does his reading of the game. He's hopelessly exposed however when running. Lumbering plodder is just being kind. Kept us in game yesterday mind.
I was surprised Bruce did not try to exploit this yesterday, though a subdued display by both sides in retrospect, like the 'protest', the crowd & pub before & after. My 100% no loss ratio on attendance for this season continues ~ 2 wins & a draw > next manager me !
