Plus he's ignoring the fact that no one (or hardly anyone at least) fawned over Hughes and Pellegrino is the worst permanent manager this club has had in a generation
We’re playing West Ham. Have you seen their record? Their confidence-sapping manager appears to have been no better than ours. And he’s still there. Their fans nearly rioted after their last loss. And now they have to play at home in front of their angry fans, in the stadium they all hate. And yet, they don’t appear to lack confidence. But yeah... it’s Pellegrino.
What will there be to asset strip playing wise in the Championship? Or perhaps he will sell off the Crown jewels as well, training ground and stadium?
Huddersfield are half way through a fantastic run of fixtures, ahead of their finish from hell. So far, they've buggered them all up without even scoring a goal (Hi Huddersfield fans, it's Saints fan here, snap). We have to pray that they continue to do that.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton and Man City (plus Leicester and Bournemouth both playing well). Anyone who suggests we aren't utterly pooched is deluded.
My comment was really about the “product” thing. Football isn’t a product, it’s more like a religion. If Saints were relegated from the Football League I’d still support them, even if they continued to play like spavined pit ponies. I’d moan and curse and scream, but I wouldn’t just give up and support someone else.
Whilst I'm not inclined to disagree with you, there is also away to Swansea. If Huddersfield lose every remaining game, a win against Swansea takes us above Huddersfield....
Some of these players look like they are just goinh through the motions and really look like they dont give a ****.shane long comes on and shows a bit of heart. Could do with a few of the other players doing the same
Hughes clearly hasn't had any cause to get tough or angry so far. He certainly has now and I hope the hairdryer can knock a few of these players into shape. Too many errors. Even if he can stop that we might creep over the line. If he actually gets as far as introducing some creativity, we might even win a game.
