Too often we've seen him let his man run on the inside. Lovren took all the flak for the Utd game, but Trent was just as much to blame imo. He's young, but he's getting a fair bit of game time, so I would expect to see him getting a hang on this by now, because if he can't then you're right- he won't be there when we have an alternative.
Blimey that was a tad nerve racking thought we were dreadful today but ,and it's a huge but, we had enough about us to somehow grind out a probably undeserved win . Now we can all relax and watch the pressure switch to Spurs & Chelsea.
The though of him vs City terrifies me. He always gets beaten and is in the wrong position. Can’t remember the last time he stopped a cross coming in. No good slinging in a good cross if you can’t get the basics of defending right, he’s too naive at times. Reminds me of Moreno. He’s young and we shouldn’t be relying on him. yup. spurs and Chelsea is not a top 4 eliminator. 6 games to go we may only need 3 more wins depending on results. 4= cl assured.
well.. the 3 at back made a small difference. just enough that they couldn't make more easily adorable chances to miss. benteke 2 sitters... phew
Consistently qualifying for CL is what really raises profile & revenue rather than one off qualifications even if you then have pretty good CL campaign.

The thing is, all things being equal if Clyne hadn't been injured we wouldn't have seen much of him or Gomez this season. Both have had a lot of game time so have developed quicker. I suspect neither will end their careers at RB.
It’s such an easy thing to train on that don’t see it being big problem. Just had to tuck inside 5 yards and close that gap between his CB. If he’s still doing it in a year I’ll worry but it’s just about being switched on in teens of positioning.
yeah... deffo. sets your status. being in europe every year then also gets you seeding and it all just elevates profile.
it was more a jokey reference to Ings clearly having pissed off the God of Football . Even with 3 at the back why do our players regularly manage to somehow place "clearing" headers to in line with penalty spot but just outside the area
Think this was his 15th PL appearance so although he's played, he's still very raw. Think he played CM more than FB in youth teams too.
yes i am constantly amazed we have this talent but only at our end of park. a few knock downs like these at the right end and we'd have more goals.
