I've always wondered why they don't switch the home / away cycle halfway through the CL group stages to make sure that doesn't happen. Although I'm not sure it makes a huge difference - the 08-09 season was the one when we got our highest PL points total since 2000 so it can't have affected us that badly!

This is one probably I feel with the new United side, lack of a really talented midfielder. Sure Anderson, Cleverley and Young are all creative and good players but none of them are world class.

I think United and City will be comfortably ahead of everyone else.

Chelsea's new players won't influence things enough to make their game sharper and quicker. They need to get rid of the Terry and Lampard generation.

City look awesome today, there is no denying that. If they carry on like this they may run away with the league.

Agreed, they are just completely taking spurs apart at white hart lane, I think city will deffinately challenge on all four fronts and go very far in all.

Dzeko proving his worth, hes becoming quality.

People thought the same about Chelsea last season.

They started the season flying, smashing goals past teams but soon faded.

Chelsea's early form lasted only as long as their first team was fit and in form. As soon as Lampard and Drogba started struggling their form collapsed. The test for City will be how they cope if important players have the same trouble. Although with Nasri and Aguero in the squad, City now have much more depth in midfield and attack than Chelsea did last season.

Thought what? If they carry on they will win the league? It was true last year if Chelsea had carried on like they started they would have won the league. Chelsea couldn't keep it up. Can City? I don't know and neither does anyone else. They have still played really really well today. Their squad has improved, a lot, and they were not that far off us last season, so yep with my head fully out of the sand I think City are a big big threat to the title this season.

City looked brilliant today but after what United produced its hard to see City running away with the League this season tbh :D

The League aint won after 3 Games. Similarly it aint Lost either.

But we have to bear in mind that of these 1st 3 Games United have played 2 probable top six sides already and won both convincingly; and by the same margin Arsenal have played 2 of the poteantial top 6 and lost both.

Citeh dominated Spurs at WHL whilst our wins have both been at OT.

All you can really say about this is that Arsenil are currently a shadow of their last season selves, and so far the top 4 look like they will be Utd, Citeh, Chelski, and Looserpool.

It's looking like a 3 horse race, you can rul Arsenal and Spurs out already. The League is between
Man Utd, City and Chelsea. Though I do think Chelsea will struggle to keep in contact, I don't believe they are strong enough. Liverpool looked impressive against Bolton, but I just don't believe they have enough quality. I feel they will be 4th:biggrin:

I feel being a united fan your comment is a little biased.
