You're as bad as Mr van Gerwen. Of course it will be fantastic if there is a sale before the season end and we go up. It will be great if we go up regardless. I woud not go back in The Valley even if Dushitelet got us to the premier. I'd still carry on with my principles and skulk around the non-league curcuit.
Nobody is knocking you, at least not on this site anyway Nobody & nothing will ever stop me supporting Charlton - even if we play on the Shetlands with Saddam Hussein as our owner I would find a way to be there.
Pikies away has been my only game this season. Only went to 5 homes last season. 3 I did not pay to get in for.
The only change I would make for Monday would be to replace Zyro with Mavididi.... the Millers wouldn't be able to handle that front 4
Mavidi - you can see he is hugely talented but you can also see why he picks up so many injuries. He wants to beat all 11 players on his own.
I'm afraid I won't be at the match on Monday. It's probably going to be a cracking game with a lively atmosphere, one to look forward to for sure. And I hope there are some anti-RD songs sung, but somehow I doubt it. Since I have not joined in with any of CARD's protest events since Charlton were relegated, you might think it shouldn't make any difference to me that the Coalition has decided not to organise any more protests. Oddly enough it has made a difference to me though. For all our differences, I respected the Coalition and the Belgium 20 for at least doing something to stand up to Duchatelet, to remind him that he cannot just do what he wants with Charlton and expect a quiet life. But they have now given up. They would no doubt say that their cease-fire is temporary, and if things don't happen soon they will organise fresh protests. But what they really mean is they will go through the motions of doing that, then find another excuse to call them off again. Murray has played them like the wiley old pro that he is, and they are now more interested in their own futures than continuing to oppose the Belgian. Lee Bowyer is doing a terrific job so far and he deserves the backing of every Charlton fan who can give it. But with protests now over, the only remaining form of physical opposition left to the Duchatelet regime is boycotting. I said a month ago that I would not attend another home game until RD is gone, because I had run out of patience with the lies and evasion regarding the non-existent take-over. That situation has not been resolved. Duchatelet is still there, and the Club is still rudderless under his ownership. I won't be back until the Club has new owners.
