Tbh the f1 has got to this point.

Ferrari, Haas is a Ferrari clone.

Red bull. Torro rosso. Same team in effect.

That's 8 cars out of the grid right off.

Then.. sauber alpha Romeo. Who owns alpha....

Then... Renault, McLaren now in their pocket.

    Then merc have the rest.

Positive is both seb and kimi kept pace with Hamilton which should hopefully mean bit of competition throughout the year.

Hamilton must be gutted did nothing wrong. Mentioned it during race but why not during vsc just always go through the pits if you can just ignore the arrive by timings on the start/finish line?

It was dull as feck....i mean more than usual....

Needs criminals forced to play chicken on the straights ..... or bankers or politicians or something.

I can't even imagine the drivers get a thrill out of driving their big bubbles of safeness any more....other than being paid millions and shagging Victoria secrets models obviously....

Yeah. Used to love F1. I keep trying to get back into it... But I can't. I follow the results in the news but only watch the odd race now... And even then I'm doing something else whilst it's on.

TBH things need to happen more.

IMO the top 3 have sewn up the rest so nobody is every going to emerge as they are deliberate held back.

Williams and force india are in mercedes pockets. They can never go faster that their derated engine allows.

    Same with the ferrari side

Then the teams sit down and agree a cosy little system together which has in effect removed any chance of anyone else entering form an engine supply perspective.

finally there not enough cars on track and also then simply not enough close racing. Yesterday was par for course. once first two corners were done it was race over.

A huge bit of luck which one day may be proven more than luck stops a hass (ferrari clone) to trigger safety car and vettel takes less time to pit then usual and gains some 20 seconds in real time on hamilton and ends up winning.

Hamilton clearly has best car but can't get within 1 second.

Ricciardo clearly has better car than raikkonen who gives up the moment vettel gets by and still ricciardo can't get within 1 second.

If they go closer tyres overheat and go off.

They really should ask the drivers....what cars do you want and the minimum safety requirements you'll settle for.

I doubt very much they'd select the current.

One car per team per race. Would make it cheaper for others to participate and also mix up the scoring a good bit. Also promote an every man for himself attitude on track.

Maybe drivers all on equal contracts.... lottery to which team you driver for each year... top x get bonuses to reflect the winning....etc

TBH I dunno what would fix it. I'd rather say no engine suppliers owning teams. supply to min 8 cars if you want to supply f1 and so get 24-30 cars on grid.

the fact is once a team gets a merc engine then something is very wrong if they cannot zoom up the gird . So disappointed with the ****e williams serve up TBH.

Theres several issues with track design too..

poor tracks. cars over reliant of aero (even more so now it seems) so much torque now teams just spin up wheels so mechanical grip is actually less.

my bug bears. fuel and tire and engine saving rather than pushing flat out.

I was done with it when they practically outlawed overtaking. Now its all about pit stops (which they've also ****ed about with too much)

Too many rules not enough actual racing.

See the elitist privileged little pricks won out.

I'm a rule of law guy while excepting that the process can be followed and a verdict reached without what everybody knows is the truth ...have to accept the process.

Lucky I don't have daughters.... wouldn't have went to court I'd have slit their throats.

And even if innocent, is that the type of scum you ever want representing your province or country?

    Wouldn't matter ...

I looked at evidence and cold hearted like you should be as a juror ... maybe a not guilty was right from a legal level of beyond reasonable doubt.

The hilarious trump like reactions from his lawyers on the social media reaction...from same legal standpoint is silly..since that is a substantially lower bar ..... it invites a sub guilty verdict

All I'll say is .... I've been among that crew at a sub national level .... unlike footballers...they already had lots of money and were educated. .and their dad's mates were all judges and lawyers and politicians. . Not saying the trial was fixed.. .just they were very comfortable in the system in a way we wouldn't be. .

    They are scum
