Style is not unlike Snow Patrols 'Run' which the ugly bird from X factor ****ed up.

 

Never liked that. Think Cash’s version was better. Some producer had a genius moment when they heard the NIN track and thought “Johnny Cash”.

Talking of covers. I know The Cranberries weren’t to everyone’s liking but I thought Dolores had an amazing voice and that Zombie was a great track.

This is a cover she was supposed to collaborate on. Think it’s pretty good.

 

I'm a huge NIN fan so I like both about equal but it's definitely one of the best cover songs imo.
As others have said it's also very poignant considering it was released shortly after his wifes death and just before his.
