I know a lot about the NHS but find it absolutely ridiculous that patients smoke right outside the hospital entrance in the clearly marked no smoking area. Hospital staff won't move them on in fear of retribution or even worse a complaint raised against that member of staff.

I can't confirm or deny this but I may have stolen a laminated sign from one of works vehicles that we use to escort prisoners to and from hospital appointments that states that my car might just be an 'official' prison vehicle so parking isn't always an issue!

There have been serious moments on this thread, most certainly, but I think much of the time it's been bloody funny with comments that confirm what we all go through frequently in life? It is refreshing to know, however, what exemplary citizens we all are on this section of the forum! :emoticon-0131-angel :emoticon-0100-smile

People that park their tiny, little Ford Fiesta in my street taking up 3 fookin spaces. You could land a jumbo jet behind them but no, i’ll just abandon it here. Inconsiderate people, probably Everton fans!

Great thread this... I'm a laid back kind of bloke so not much gets my goat up if truth be told but people answering their phones whilst I'm actually having a conversation with them at the time really peeves me off... In fact most things to do with mobile phones gets me going. When I'm out having something to eat and you look around and most people arnt talking to each other but texting someone else that's not there...!!

That reminds me of when, recently, I walked down to the village shop where my daughter lives, walked round the store and picked up what I wanted, except one thing I couldn't find. So I went to the counter and there were two "servers" having a conversation. I stood there waiting for one of them to actually ask the customer (me) if they could help. No such luck, they were so engaged in their conversation it was as though I was invisible. Eventually I walked round the store, put everything back, dropped the basket back into the stack of baskets and left the shop. I was fuming when I got back to Amanda's, saying don't they realise they are there to serve customers. :steam:

  14. Arseholes who sit on the outer seat of a bus and refuse to allow anyone to take the inside one. Nearly chinned someone for it the other week as it meant my elderly mum had to stand. Someone else gave their seat up when they shouldn't have needed to.

And a work one - people who, when you are asked a question, give the answer even though it's not their area of expertise. Oh and people who tell you how to manage your staff when you were actually a manager before they even reached puberty.

Work is a very rich seam Dan. How about those fookers who send you an email and then 2 mins later arrive at your desk to tell you they've sent you an email and want to discuss the content :headbang:

****ing beards. It seems that more and more people are growing beards. FFS some look ridiculous. So why? I ask myself. It's got to the stage where I find myself saying "Not another one growing a ****ing beard"

People saying "like" every few words. Infuriating

Commentators who keep saying "The a ............" (Eg He finished second in the a Gold Cup". So did he finish second in the (definite article) Gold Cup or in a (indefinite article) Gold Cup? There is one commentator in main show jumping events who says it so often I have to mute the bloody telly
