Sleep well Dave <ok> Are you feeling a bit better now? Has the change to BST upset your body clock? I enjoy the longer evenings, but not the darker mornings. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Good morning all from a cold and wet Weston-super-Mare, off to Norwich shortly. OFH ,the change to BST hasn't really made any difference, I still wake up at stupid o'clock.

    Have a good day <ok>

Morning all. Grey and damp, but mild here today. Investigated all of the washing machines available, and have come to a decision on which one to buy. Mme wishes to see it before parting with the money, so a trip out. The one we will probably buy had a comment from a satisfied customer. "Nice and simple to use which is very important as I am a man". :emoticon-0105-wink:

    Raining all morning here.
We try to buy "basic" washing machines as there is less to go wrong - Mrs does insist though on a high spin speed (so I am taking dance lessons) Wish I had applied the same principle to car buying - see comments to Yorkie yesterday :)

Yes - I had to register it with a codename and buy an sd card - but don't think I have ever used it.
Parking!!! It will parallel park into a space for you - but I have never had the bottle to let it try. Thanks but 40+ years of driving and I will park it myself.
The only good thing I have used is you can turn the engine on from indoors - so on a freezing day the car is warmed up when you get to it. (bad for the environment though :( )

Bit late to say good morning. Rather overslept and have been running just to catch up. After my trip to Limoges yesterday down a very wet autoroute with spray everywhere, it is a relief to have the sun out. While we were having a spot of lunch yesterday I watched a lad who was about 12 years old at a guess. He was attempting to show his grandmother how to use her new smart phone. How often do we rely on children to get us up to date with modern technology? The comments about new cars above reminded me of my brother-in-law who had a new car and had to call the AA out as he had forgotten how to start it. Fortunately we were sat in a pub car park at the time. He has not been allowed to forget it. :emoticon-0100-smile

I once hired a car in Corsica which we picked up very late at night as result of an French Air Traffic Control strike delaying our flight! It was a 3-hour drive to our final destination and half way there I took a wrong turn (dark, no signposts etc!) but realised and decided I had to turn round. As on much of the island the road was very narrow but in any case I could not find out how to engage reverse. We had to push the reverse parts of a 7-point turn and only discovered the next day a flange on the gear stick which had to be lifted before reverse gear would engage. Happy days!

Just seen Javier Gracia on the PL show. He finds that Watford is a family club. The connection between fans and a club of our size, and say one of the Manchester clubs, has to create a different dynamic. He just loves the roar when we score. So do I. It is easy to forget that not long ago we had a broken down three sided ground.

Morning all. Grey, cloudy, wet, possibility of thunderstorms this morning. :emoticon-0101-sadsm Waiting for the phone to ring with a delivery time for the washing machine. Last time there was a given time for a delivery they turned up an hour early, almost as bad as being an hour late. You sometimes just hang around waiting for something to happen.
