Has that been confirmed? I saw Hearn saying t after Whyte beat Browne but haven’t seen anything saying he is now mandatory.

Whyte beats Wilder I think, been watching Wilder for a few years now and think anyone who is half decent beats him. Would’ve been stopped against Ortiz if the round was 20 seconds longer and if you get rocked by someone as slow as him you’ll be in trouble against a good fighter like Whyte.

Hearn won’t want that to happen as Joshua Wilder, promoted in the right way, could be serious £££. Whyte not so much and a “battle of Britain Whyte v Joshua number 3!!!!” Won’t have the same apeal

Yeah, Wilder is hugely overrated in my opinion and Whyte underrated, think he’d win

Wilder Whyte won’t happen unless he is the mandatory, just doesn’t make sense for the promoters.

Wilder is way overrated but I can't see Whyte beating him if they were ever to meet.
Wilder has poor boxing skills but hits hard, Whyte doesn't have the same power and only has marginally better boxing ability.

I don’t think so. I’ve watched him enough times to form a reasonable opinion on him I think and really can’t see him doing well against anyone who can match him physically. Whyte can do that and Joshua is another level as an athlete. I think he will (as he should do, and as Parker is doing) hype a fight with Joshua as much as possible. Earn serious money and give it your best shot, if you lose then take the money and run

His record makes a mockery of that statement.

Record as in being 40-0? Or record as in who he has fought?

He has, but so have a few others in the heavyweight category who get made mugs when they fight the few top fighters in the weight class. Whyte has only lost once, to Joshua.

I’m not saying Wilder isn’t in the top level of heavyweight, he is. It’s just that the heavyweight division has been poor in the time he was building his record. It is getting better now, and I think he will be found out

    That's not Wilders fault though.

The same can be said off AJ.

Agree with both statements. I don’t know how good AJ is really. I can only go off what I’ve seen and (what I like to think) is a decent knowledge of the sport. And based on that I think Wilder struggles

Yeah and that is the main reason I don’t put AJ on the pedal stool that a lot seem to. I do think he is better than anyone I’ve seen around, but in terms of the top heavyweights in the last few decades not even close for me.

I hope Fury comes back as that would be a great fight, but think that ship might’ve sailed in terms of it being a good fight.

Oh and in terms of the thread, AJ should end him in under 5. He won’t because boxing, but he will win comfortably

Why should he end him in under 5?

Think AJ is getting way to overhyped.

Based mainly on his athletisicm. I haven’t seen a lot of Parker so I may be completely wrong, but looking at who he has fought I can’t see him posing Joshua any problems. He went 12 rounds with Hughie Fury, not a great advert for his ability in my view

The guys Parker has fought? I’ve only heard of a few of them, so can’t really comment. I do really rate Takam though and he went the distance with him so fair.

The fact that I haven’t heard of the guys he has fought and the only fight he has had outside Australiasia is Fury makes me think they aren’t in the top bracket, he will struggle with the occasion and he is mainly here for a payday.

I again might be judging too early and writing him off but I have seen this stuff so many times before that I’m confident in my prediction
