Who mentioned Iraq and Afghanistan, never mind the dead Saddam? You do bad things in other countries and bad things will happen to you, regardless of the rights and wrongs. Someone gets killed and his son/brother/sister etc will try to avenge it. It's hardly rocket science.

He mentioned (loose quote): "getting involved in other people's **** and bombing them". I'm struggling to think of any other recent examples. So, you support the Taliban and (the late) Saddam do you?

I support me and mine. I have opinions on other things but that is as far as it goes. Saying 'recent' does not help your case either, Britain has been upsetting people for centuries mate. People hold grudges. Rightly or wrongly you would think things like the Famine in Ireland happened last week according to some. Don't judge other peoples through your own viewpoint. It leads to ignorance. Everybody has a different history and interpretation of that history. One of the most important things I have been told is that there isn't only one 'truth'. The winners write the history and the losers stew over their own 'truth'.
