  2. It’s like shooting fish in a barrel, but the flowery retorts make it a fun exercise, Bruv!

Where others choose a simple “fcuk you!” Bambi writes a treatise.

    Spot on mate.

‘Respect the culture you’re in’ is such a patronising comment. The idea that British citizens who’s heritage is from the subcontinent or wherever could actually bring some positive to that culture with aspects of their parents culture , doesn’t seem to register with ‘some’.

    “Respect the culture you’re in!”

“Is it OK if I have a Balti?”

“Of course, good old British grub.”

It was in response to the whiney git with a chip on his shoulder claiming that 'some' have the 'utmost respect' for the culture of a country that they don't want to be a part of. I was just checking to see if he was just a hypocrite.

Turns out he is, and he has girls on here swallowing the same jizz.

How sweet you girls flock together. <ok>

  12. Exactly. My mum and dad are Irish. Am I proud of them and their families? Of course. Would I choose to live in Waterford or Cork? Would I ****.

Thing is most of us who came here as kids, or definitely those who were born here identify as English/British. The only ones reminding us we aren't are the patonising ****s you speak of

But sure we can't escape that our parentage has a culture which differs, albeit Indian subcontinent is pretty much English culture as in that's what is taught in schools etc

But how different is having a difference in some aspects more different from a kid say born to hippy parents etc?

There's none so blind as those that refuse to see.

Or someone whos parents were too closely related and gave birth to yet another defect with poor eyesight and limited mental capacity.

Growing up in Kabul might seem like a tough enough prospect these days - but spare a thought for the toddler named Donald Trump.

The 18-month-old was born in Afghanistan's central Daykundi Province as his famous namesake was running for the US presidency.

When his father saw the baby's light-coloured hair, he saw a likeness and his mind was made up.

"(President) Donald Trump has a lot of special qualities," Sayed Assadullah said in a report by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.

"He's very capable, he's serious, and he's a good politician and a good writer.

"Because he's a really good person, and he wrote a lot of impressive books, and because he was a successful businessman, we decided to name our son Donald Trump."
