They've changed the name from "1904" to "1984".
    The perfect dystopian ploy.

Got to be consistent, any posts making reference to Thatcher, Blair, Corbyn, May etc are always deleted, everyone knows the score.

Why do they have to make things so complicated? Of cause we know why. True to my word, I have cancelled my corporate membership from next season, I am fed up of these bastards playing fast and loose with peoples lives. Until they **** off, they are not getting anymore of my money. Makes me sad to do this, as it is something I always enjoy doing going and watching my team, but enough is enough.

P.S. I did get a very nice sympathetic E mail back from the girls, saying how sad they were to see me go, but understood my reasons. They hasten to add that I am not alone it cancelling.

The way the attendance are dropping and will continue to drop our first eleven will run out as tumbleweed.

Given the 2 month notice I would suggest that if the result of the vote might make you cancel (no concessions/price hike) then you should give notice today. That way it will end at the end of May meaning you won’t have to pay for a gameless month (June). Then if the vote does go your way you can change your mind during the notice period.

    Please cancel membership number H*********

I don’t think it is fair that children have to pay adult price to come to football but I couldn’t afford to pay the prices that are now being offered. So you are asking me to go against my principles, I do not like the way the club is treating it’s fans and no longer wish to be a part of it until it changes. Thanks

I think that's a question deserving a bit of consideration, John. The whole clamour, from most, has been for concessions - some expressed a wish that the youth support should be given priority.

But can that reasonably be demanded without considering the clear and unequivocal objectives, of the owners, to run the club in a business-like manner that is to the benefit of the shareholders? We should remember that it has frequently been said that this is reasonable and to be expected.

So, they have proposed the concessions that folk wanted, they have robbed Peter to pay Paul to achieve this. Wasn't this predictable, didn't posters say it would be acceptable?

The policing of these concessions have caused offence, but are their T&Cs much different to any others, or is it simply that they have been raised from the small print? I wonder if any supporter/group will do a comparison within sport and other ticket/membership event led businesses to understand whether or not these general terms are unusually harsh. For my part, I think their foolishness has been in explaining how they will do it in detail; it's unnecessary and inflammatory - but sadly that is the owners style, but I would have expected better from Beercock.

The Trust are being quiet and that is good, as this needs a well considered response.

They do say, be careful what you wish for.

Based on the response this has generated online, it seems to almost universally ****ed everyone off, there's only a few die-hard Allamite dipshits left trying to defend the owners actions.

Unlike the first one, I think there's a realistic chance of getting people to boycott this vote completely and I now think that's the position the Trust should take.

I voted for concessions in the last poll but there is no way I’m going to waste my time on this new rabbit out of the hat crap. Cancelled my membership a month ago and now, sadly, I think my nearly 60years of support for Hull City are coming to an end.

If you refuse to provide a photograph for this new scheme I presume you will not be allowed to join ? So would that automatically exempt you from the membership scheme thus making your standing order null and void and also giving you a legal get out clause for not giving them two months notice ? Genuine question ?

If they'd taken that stance on the original vote they could have claimed victory given the low turnout.

If they say boycott now then maybe that would annoy Ehab and he'll just announce the result of the new ballot as a percentage regardless of how few vote. Or alternatively say again there's a low turnout so nobody cares and we'll stay with no concessions. I'd suggest the former being more likely though as that way he doesn't have to concede anything to the Trust.

Edit to add: This is exactly what was asked for though isn't it? A return to how things were. Proper cheap kids' prices. Unfortunately it comes with a return to overpriced adult memberships, but we were paying them before this new awful scheme got rid of them. Other than the photo ID thing I'm not sure that we have much room to complain. Ehab has basically said you hate the new scheme, here have the old one back. I guess he's trying to pursuade us that the new non-concession scheme is great.

I disagree. Ehab doesn't want any concessions at all, the goal has to be to get them reinstated, then once done so the focus can shift onto getting them changed into something more agreeable.

    One step at a time.

If the aim is stop the decimation of the support and get people going again, then having the most expensive entry price point for adults in the Championship quite obviously isn't the way to do it.

All it needed was all the daft restrictions to be removed from the proposal in the first ballot.
