Awful time of the year to be punting, even virtually. NH the winter horses are over the top, spring horses waiting for ground or needing the run. Flat is pretty much a lottery this time of year with paddock inspections the only real pointer. Why would anyone bother before Aintree?
One never knows what the trainers of the others have up their sleeve stick so it's hardly ever a shoe-in. She is beautifully bred by Dubawi - High Heeled (High Chaparral) and should improve for the step up in trip. She has won on the polytrack which would have been a big question mark. The time wasn't brilliant but she won easily and I can't see any others having got near her time. She had a gentle intro when finishing 5th of 14 in a maiden on début (nearest finish) and the winner won a Class 2, 3 weeks later. This will be the third jockey in as many races so a small question mark, even though it is James Doyle this time (would have preferred Buick) She is nowhere near top rated by Timeform which is a bit of a worry. The top rated is having her first race on the surface so who knows? Can't be confident so it's a bit of a gamble to be honest

I see it's on the drift now. Can't afford to hedge it because I wouldn't know which one(s) to back. I'll kiss good-bye to that grand. Relegation beckons
Might well regret both decisions smokey. I was fairly happy with my original bet until AH put another stone on its back. I just went for the one the money was coming for, being a C&D winner.
Just heard on the news that Alex Hammond has been flooded with phone calls from not606 members. Was it something I said?
