Some want to venerate him as Mao was, but he is far from the political dogma that caused the nightmares of the Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution (WTF would 'Xi Jinping thought' be anyway) .
So let's just get this straight: the current Corbyn smear is that he's an anti-semite, and anyone using the PredictTheNextCorbynSmear hashtag is proof that both Corbyn and his supporters are anti-semites? There's some real dullards in the media these days... On the subject of the "anti-semitic" mural he's been accused of praising, there's a slight problem with that assertion: there's not a single Jewish symbol on the mural, while the people depicted include JP Morgan and John D Rockerfeller - neither of whom were remotely Jewish, yet Luciana Berger just assumed they are because they were drawn with hooked noses...which makes Berger either anti-semitic, a self-interested attention-grabber, or both. Also this...

The more astute media noted he was not attending a Labour meeting that is allegedly going to be discussing the matter this week, and that unless he has engagement diary clashes, his absence is not really helping his PR on this.
It wouldn't surprise me if there was a clash in his diary that the people pushing this Narrative conveniently forgot - but given the people pushing the anti-semitism Narrative also seem to have forgotten it's the party itself that investigates claims of inappropriate behaviour of its members, or how the proposed meeting sounds about as credible as the one Peter Herbert demanded with Daniel Levy due to the "casual racism" of our fans and he'd refer the matter the the Metropolitan Police if we ignored him like the ambulance-chasing attention whore that he is (we didn't, and funnily enough he didn't) is it really a bad thing to not dignify a kangaroo court by not showing up?
Apparently the "meeting" is the one held weekly by the Labour MPs. So it is happening anyway, whatever matters are being discussed.
The following is the image of Parkland survivor Emma Gonzalez that has been doing the rounds on social media for the past few hours please log in to view this image Naturally it has led to all manner of ignorant seething, much of which seems to sound remarkably similar to the ignorant seething of a supposedly different person Gonzalez has also received death threats in response to this image. Yes, you read that correctly, somebody who all too recently survived a mass shooting has been receiving death threats. Now we get to some things called "facts." First of all, this is the actual image of Emma Gonzalez, which was from a shoot with Teen Vogue please log in to view this image Similarly, the animated gif of that was the basis for the original image is taken from this video from Teen Vogue, which has been shared on their Twitter account in the wake of this doctored image spreading like syphilitic wildfire It wasn't long before the source of the image was discovered, and that was the former Twitter user MomsLuvTrump20. The reason I say "former Twitter user" is that their Twitter profile is no longer there, either due to Twitter taking action against the user for posting such a shoddy Photoshop job that they have no chance of ever being employed by Newsnight, or just as feasibly they ran away to hide as soon as the deserved ****storm came their way. It really does say something, doesn't it? It's not the first time the worst of the American right - not least Trump Jr and various republicans from Florida and Maine - has smeared the Parkland kids, Gonzalez in particular, but when there's people with the level of hatred for her that they not only post libellous images of her in a blatant bid to discredit her, knowing full well it will also lead to a worryingly large number of people sending death threats, it says just how goddamn bad the USofA has become that a teenage gun massacre survivor terrifies them to the point they have to tear her down.
Lots of people seem to be under the impression that proving the various Leave campaigns cheated will have some impact. It won't. Cambridge Analytica and it's parent company worked with the Tories on previous elections. The companies have a wide variety of links to the Conservative party that we already know about. It's a matter of time until more pop up and May won't set a precedent with Brexit, which they're clearly locked into now.
The Constitution should be rewritten with 2018 in mind. It may have been ok in 17/1800's but, come on. You hear of Irish Americans,Italian Americans,German Americans,Mexican Americans,Scottish Americans, even Welsh Americans, not forgetting African Americans. Did you ever hear of an English American?...and they were the first there (after the Indians!) ...and why, then,do they say they speak English when they should be saying they speak American. Two countries separated by a common language....they say!
Lord Levy, the guy who bankrolled Tony Blair, says in this evening's Standard (which has rotated back to Corbyn being a communist...) that he doesn't recognise the Labour party under the leadership of Jeremy Corbyn. That's funny, the likes of Tony Benn, Dennis Skinner, Paul Foot et al didn't recognise the Labour party under Tony Blair - and neither did the 82 year old bloke who Blair's heavies turfed out of the 2005 Labour Conference for doing something other than sitting there and mindlessly applauding every empty soundbite. In other news, according to the Kerslake report the Manchester bombing was all the fault of the firefighters not getting there in time and certainly nothing to do with MI5 ignoring at least two warnings about eventual attacker Salman Abedi from 2014-5 nor how Manchester Police were unable to continue surveillance on Abedi due to their budget being slashed to the bone - the latter falling directly into the lap of Amber Rudd, the former into the lap of her predecessor whose name just so happens to be Theresa May. In other other news, we're supposed to be surprised that Mark Zuckerberg can't be arsed to grace an MPs enquiry with his presence. Oh come on, at least three people in this thread called that the second it was suggested he show up.
Considering this is what their ToS says, they certainly should have deleted his account by now please log in to view this image
Not in the least. The concerning thing about that report was that the ‘victims’/interviewees were only angry at Facebook and the harvesters of the information. If those feelings are mirrored outside of Colorado then the users and manipulators of the information - primarily the political parties in the US, UK and across Africa - are getting a free pass.
