After 7 years of research, is Ehab's research into the price elasticity of football clubs ever going to be published?
Piss up, brewery, Ehab, springs to mind. I'm at a loss understanding re. the intention of the "new based on old" model. If it is pitching supporters against each other, and/or driving support away, success, well thought through. I voted for the principle of concessions, prepared to pay more. Our family tickets under the latest offering would mean paying £828 pa more! Utter madness and bollocks.
I will continue to abstain from voting. I will not endorse this poll, the trust and all protest groups should be telling people to boycott this vote as what Ehab has done is childish and acted like the man we all know him to be. And some people where even starting to believe the Allams had changed we would win a battle. Ehab will always make sure he wins, I hope people learn from this and never trust the Allams again. All this has done is reinforce the fact I am doing the right thing by boycotting. Time to up the protests or join me in my boycott.
We really do want to hear from you on this one, so to encourage you to vote and have your say. Well, Mr Ehab. Pin back you lug oles ....... ARE YOU SO SHAMELESS THAT YOU CARRY ON LIKE THIS? YOU ARE / HAVE SYMPTOMATICALLY DESTROYING (DESTROYED) THE CLUB THAT IS/HAS BEEN PRETTY MUCH MY WHOLE LIFE, NOT SOME ****ING CASH MACHINE FOR YOU. YOU PETTY VINDICTIVE TWAT, WILL YOU **** OFF FROM MY CLUB? Thanks.
I'll be honest, I haven't bothered to read the details released today, as it was, as it always is, too ****ing obvious that it would be another Allam "**** you supporters" episode. I'm not reading anything in the last few pages to make me think I should in fact read it. The sooner the Allams **** off the better.
So people are prepared to go along with this charade in order to establish the principal of concessions. It’s not even that we all pay more so the concessions pay less. What it means is we all pay exorbitantly more so the concessions pay less. That in itself is not a problem for me. What is a problem is that even though I don’t mind paying more, there are conditions attached to it. Having taken my money, and having got photo ID etc, I am not allowed to give my pass to another adult so he/she can go. The net revenue to the club is not affected. They are not being deprived of revenue as the person I give my pass to wouldn’t go otherwise. Our family has two adult passes but there are four of us who go. I go every match and the other goes to whoever can go. This is why I would like us to inform Ehab to shove his proposal and not bother with voting. It’s patently obvious that he has proposed and worded it in such a way that he is banking on most people not wanting to pay double, and will be delighted to announce that he gave us a chance and those that voted turned it down. Divide and rule. Or if he’s not happy will decide to offer another vote. Who knows? Everyone has their own vested interests and their own principals. The wording on that proposal document is so dictatorial yet we are supposed to be grateful for its content!
The last season I had a pass I paid over £500. That season because of being in hospital or having paramedics out on a Friday or Saturday I missed 9 games. I gave my pass to one of my lads who was out of work to go with the other one or a big City fan who was also out of work. Now you couldn't do that under the new proposals. Wonderful.
If I wanted to join in with Ehabs game, I would vote against it. The principle of concessions is irrelevant, what really matters is that it's affordable for everyone to attend. Save for a small minority who might save a teeny tiny bit, this is far ****ing from it. Those prices were ridiculous then and they're even more ridiculous now. But I won't play Ehabs games, because I'm not an idiot. There are apparently 25000 of them for him to toy with though, so he won't go bored.
Its getting ****ing stupid do.they say 18 percent voted i know geoff bielby said few weeks ago from a club source not many people ad done the vote
