Out of the 12 games so far this year weve only failed to score in 3 of them. For me our biggest problem has been we only turn up for half a game at most and just sit back for the rest, especially when we're winning.
I realized I made a mistake cos the West Ham goalie's not called Will, it's Joe. So Saints shoot at Joe (or preferable to one side of him)
Er yeah... all three have come in our last 4 league games during which time we've scored 1 league goal.
became BMC in 1952. Went on to produce some really crap cars. Tesla are thinking of producing an electric version of the A35.
And yet, someone perversely, I don't really want us to play with more freedom for this particular game. Because of their awful defence, we really shouldn't need to. Ideally I'd say our focus should be much more on stopping Lanzini, Arnautovic and co (given our own vulnerable defence), in the knowledge that West Ham are poor enough to give up a chance or two. But if Austin isn't available to start, then we might not have any choice. Because as bad as they are defensively, so are we offensively. An Austin-less Saints probably means we have to hit them with all guns blazing - which is more likely now, as you allude to - and accept that means giving up a whole host of chances to West Ham. They failed to take them against Burnley, so hopefully the same again.
I think Hughes should give his half-time team talk before the match starts. Tell them that they are useless bastards and to pull thir finger out....probably won't be far wrong.
Right. And since I largely put that down to the players giving up on the manager, the fact these blanks have come during this period is part of the reason I'm more confident we will be able to score against west ham.
If Austin can get back on the pitch for 5/6 of our last games, then we have a much far better chance of staying up. Obviously, but my point being, his £4M fee would eclipse Rickie's £1M as our best business. (although without 80% of my favorite memories)
USA based Saints I have a question. My daughter used to be on Xfinity and I could log in to the NBC Sports app on the Apple TV or in a browser and it all worked, she has now gone to DirecTV and although she insists she has 'Soccer' in NBCSN, when I log on to the app it says that it is not included. I can however use the DirecTV app and watch the games on the channels. Is there something else I need to ask her to get enabled? The app works so much better than the DirecTV app and I don't need to VPN, just use my Smart DNS. Sorry if slightly off topic, but West Ham v Saints is on CNBC on Saturday (not NBC Sports Gold which I do have working) and want to watch it via the app rather than on CNBC channel. UK based Saints...ignore this. So much easier here with just SKY Sports and BT
