Oh. Sneaky. I read it as ok concessions are coming back then. But at these levels and with photo ID as mandatory. But the models pretty much what the fans were asking for. It’s possible they’ve seen the light? Just kidding! Reading it all again, somehow missed them offering prizes to vote too. Big game coming up I guess. Laugh ain’t it, supporting our club.
But if he wanted to he could just announce that the majority voted in favour of keeping things as they are. I half-expected that was what he would do. We'd have no way of verifying it. The fact they've included all these anti-fraud measures makes it seem to me like he's finally been convinced to go back to the old system but with these conditions. The pricing looks like the 15/16 prices with a few quid extra on top (presumably just Ehab adding a bit for inflation?).
It opened in Chrome for me but not Firefox. I think it's a funny PDF because Chrome struggled with it too, but the point is - try another browser.
He’ll do anything to make people vote in the way he wants. Those going from £21 to £45 will need kids to make it overall cheaper. I think the 18% is for two reasons: people saw straight through the voting options and the system didn’t really work anyway (failing to tell many if their vote had even registered). I can see for and against the photo ID thing. If somebody was unable to go, why did it matter if another person went? After all, you’re paying for the seat.
I’ve made TreeHuggers attachment full size so you should be able to see it on his post if you’re having trouble on the team’s site. It took ages to open on my phone.
All that was needed was for photo ID on concessions. It’s not ****ing rocket science! If there’s three adults and only two memberships, why can’t they just take it in turns when to go. They are still paying the same adult price for the two seats.
Some other clubs don't allow other people using t someone else's ticket without notification. One of the reasons they give is banned fans or troublemakers gaining entry. Someone I know was given someone's season ticket for a Chelsea game. He went down to London and saw about 10 minutes before a steward saw a different face, asked for proof of ID and lobbed him out. That was a few years back, don't know if they are still as strict on it nowadays.
The prices are basically the same as they were before the memberships were introduced. The West was £606 in 2015/16 (not including corporate), they also seem to have moved W5 out of corporate.
