You will then be able to load match tickets onto this card. 2: Alternatively, for those who would prefer not to register for a Pay as You Go style membership card, you will only be able to buy fixed price match by match tickets and these will be at an elevated price (with no concession option). With the above proposed model: We will be empowering stewards to do regular on the spot checks on the stadium grounds including: before entry, at the gates, in the stadium, whilst you are seated, and as you are leaving- in short, anywhere at any time in the stadium. If you are found to be abusing the revised rules i.e. using someone else’s card or using a card that is not the correct age group for you, the Club will confiscate your card on the spot and you will be ejected from the stadium. To collect your card you will need to prove your identity again with photo ID. If you have bought the incorrect card for your age group, you will need to pay the backdated amount for monies owed since you registered as a Member. You will also be charged a fine of £35. Please note, your card would be placed ‘on hold’ until the fine is paid. A record will be kept of persistent abusers of the system, and your card will ultimately be revoked, and you will be banned from attending via either membership option and will only be able to buy the elevated price match by match tickets instead. I consistently said for everyone to have nothing to do with the ballot proposals or any dialogue with these lunatics. They treat us like fools and yet some on here think they can somehow influence them. Tell them to **** off and ramp the protests up.
Well. That looks like actual proper concessions. Mental. I’m ok with ID being checked. Only those with something to hide won’t be of course. 18% bothered to vote? Ffs. They could have just said the fans clearly don’t give a **** so let’s leave it. This is at least a change from the previous **** suggestion to going back to what some of us wanted. Jeez, my ticket would go from £21 per month to £45 per month! Although 1 nephew would be £7.50 and 1 would be £3. So the group would be £55.50 as opposed to £63 now. As prices would more than double for adults in the south/north stands they'd need to have more than 1 kid to benefit. Pensioners would see their membership increase by £1.50 (in the North and South) but reduce in the East and West. On first glance it seems to be the opposite to the previous offer. Be interesting to see how universal the acceptance will be. Will people be willing to pay a lot more so kids can pay a lot less?
I'm reading the situation rather differently. I suspect the vote was significantly in favour of a return to concessions, but with lots of objections over the nature of the restrictions imposed. Ehab doesn't want concessions, he thought people paying £21 would vote against them, so he's using low turnout as an excuse to void the vote. Now he's giving people what they asked for, but with many adult memberships going up from £21 to £45, he hopes more will vote against them and give him the result he wants. The **** him.
