    It won't win any Master Chef presentation points but it's tasty and (relatively) healthy.

    Knocked up on a gas ring FYI.

    Yeah, was a decent plate full for tea.

    Got some left today to put in a wrap for dinner.

    Easy enough;

    One small chorizo sliced and fried in its own oil
    One onion, chopped and also fried in the chorizo oil
    One pack of fresh uncooked prawns, ditto
    One tea spoon of 'very lazy' garlic
    Tablespoon of tomato puree
    Small pack of sliced spicy chicken breast
    A cup of frozen petit pois, half a cup of boiling water.

    Heat all that up and at the end add two pack of microwave rice, one was wholemeal and the other with veg.

    That's it. All on a gas ring!!

    Enough for a one man meal and plenty left overs for the following days lunch.

    <ok>

    That sounds good and sounds like it fits into my "better take less than 15 minutes" cooking rule. Would need to swap the chorizo for something though, maybe more chicken. I'll give it a go and let you know.

    I'm a skinny bastard.

    I work in a chill/freezer warehouse, lifting stuff for 8 hours.

    It probably tasted ok but I'd expect to find that steaming by a bus stop on a Friday night.

    The problem with that is the chorizo is the provider of most of the flavour, pretty much essential in this dish. It also provides the oil in which you cook the onion, prawns, garlic etc.

    Not sure if there is a lower fat alternative?

    Over Easter I'm doing the lamb, sweet red peppers and feta again as it was very popular last time. I'm doing my version of @Bodinki lasagne and Fish Cakes, not sure what to have with them yet though.

    These are all seperate days like. :biggrin:

    Sausage and bean casserole. With half a ton of garlic, onion, tomatoes, tomato purée, chopped peppers ( red, yellow, green). Warm crusty baguette with butter to go with it.

    All washed down with a couple of these...very nice beer.

    The Five Star - Cinco Estrellas is top beer, imo. Lovely deep flavour.
